@IsaacMoses Should I still read the last few pages or is it too late?
I'll just pick up where I left off.
2nd question on Day 6 - the title has chanuka with n x2
in the Q, I don't know if Devarim should be in italics. I think it should.
first line of p.2 - italicize halachot
para. 2 of page 2 of day 6 - d'rabannan has a wacky spelling, and d'rabanan and deoraita should be de-italicized
parenthetical Vaeschanan in YDK's answer - italics?
and Yerushalmi
and pasuk
and Bavli
and Ritva
and brachos
Day 7 - Gershon Gold's first line of translation is missing a period at the end
the next line of translation says "I was save" where it should say "I was saved"

Incorporated @TriG's corrections to the first few pages. Thanks!

Incorporated @YeZ' corrections. Thanks!

Did some work on the Intro text.
Working on the Credits
Did you know that this pub has credits for users Sam and sam? Kind of them to capitalize differently

6:00 AM
Credits and back page done.
Unified spelling of "Chanukah" (you're welcome, @Scimonster) in every instance in the titles and front and back matter except one.
v 0.4 PDF / WORD

@TRiG, if you happen to have time for a full examination within the next week, that would be great, and would pretty much put us back on schedule to get this book out a week before Chanuka

4th paragraph of the intro has a hanging sentence
In the 3rd paragraph, you should use dashes instead of hyphens.
Day 3, the link to that video (footnote in page 2) doesn't work, because the Hebrew seems to have gotten reversed. Maybe it should be replaced with a short URL?
Page 6 has footnote reference 11
Page 6 -- double hyphens should be replaced with a real dash
(three festivals - Pesach, Shavuos, Sukkos). -- another place for a dash
Page 7, second page spells "Chanuka"
Also missing an H in "Chasmonaim"
There's a lot of inconsistencies about when you explain what the source is. For example, page 2 contains footnotes about the authorship and dating of Shulchan Aruch and Mishnah Berurah, while page 1 doesn't.
Day 4 - who are Beis Yosef; Mahari Abohav; Ohr Olam?
Day 6 doesn't mention at all who Minchas Chinuch, Taamei Minhagim, Avudraham, or Sfas Emes are
Day 6 p2 -- Masechet B’rachot isn't italicized
the Bavli (Megila 14a) and the Yerushalmi (Megila 6b) - inconsistent italicization - Megila isn't italicized the second time
Day 8 p2 -- Talmud - Shabbat 133b isn't italicized
Just curious - who gets emails to mi.yodeya@gmail.com?
Should the MY logo be on the intro and credits pages?
@IsaacMoses The intro looks good; you might as well post it to meta.judaism.stackexchange.com/questions/2272/…

@IsaacMoses Have printed it up, but not had a chance to look at it yet. Maybe tonight.

@TRiG thanks. Note that I just put out a new version; sorry if that wastes your paper.
@Scimonster thanks. I was a little heavy-handed in editing it. I'll put the text up on meta soon for further review.
@Scimonster which way should we unify around (open to the floor)?
@Scimonster the three mods
@Scimonster I think it's sufficient to have it large, on the cover. It's not a terribly long document.
@Scimonster good idea. Short URLs could also be helpful on D1 p2

2:02 PM
@Scimonster Oops. aborted edit there. Will delete.

@IsaacMoses I'd go with including the explanation

@Scimonster If anyone has time and inclination to provide all the missing explanations as correction comments here, that would be very helpful.

2:48 PM
Day 2.2 mentions Darkei Moshe, but explains what it is inline instead of in a footnote. Move that (and add date) to a footnote?
Day 4.1, msh210's answer mentions the MB; can use the footnote from page 2 there: "Clarified Teaching," an early 20th Century commentary on Shulchan Aruch, by Rabbi Yisrael Meir Kagan

@Scimonster Maybe. Maybe not if there isn't surplus space in that day-section.

@IsaacMoses It looks like there is.

@Scimonster In that case, consistency would say do it.

Day 4.2 - Beis Yosef: "House of Yosef", the precedor to the Shulchan Aruch, by Rabbi Yosef Karo, 1550
(that's text for a footnote)
need one for Taamei Minhagim and Minchas Chinuch (6.1)
I'm unsure which Taamei Minhagim it is
and Mahari Abohav in 4.2
day 7 doesn't italicize Megillah or Talmud Bavli, Megillah 15b
day 8 doesn't use the same MB footnote as elsewhere
And on day 7, should the two pages be flipped? i.e. have "what does Purim have to do with Maoz Tzur" on the first page, and the hanging Haman's stuff on the second.
I think it might make more sense like that

@IsaacMoses Some more corrections:
Msh's answer on day 8 has the word "conecture" which is missing a j - "conjecture"
(sorry I still didn't make it to the end by last night.)
the very last question is missing a separating line between the question and answers, which all other questions have.
I can't bring myself to read the credits. So I'm signing off now.

@YeZ OK thanks again.

@IsaacMoses Pleasure - it was entertaining reading.

@IsaacMoses OK one encore proofreading - the word chanukiah/chanukiyah is spelled differently in two different question titles - on page 12 and 18. I think we wanted to standardize spelling for titles.
