I tried following wiki.factorio.com/index.php?title=Multiplayer and couldn't get it to work.

I learned a couple of things during single player today. First, jumping out of a moving train is a good way to get run over by said train.

Also, driving is easier if you zoom way out.

@SimonForsberg I would start a multiplayer visible LAN game and couldn't see it on the other computer I installed Factorio on.

@SimonForsberg tried that as well. Use cmd.exe and ipconfig to make sure I has the correct IP address. Didn’t work.

My networking knowledge is woefully inadequate.

@IvenBach Check firewalls and stuff. Make sure that you don't have the "Verify users" box ticked when creating the server. Otherwise, I don't know.

Also, go buy the game :)

@Marc-Andre There's still some parts in Groovy, but some newer things in Kotlin.

The move to AWS has definitely burnt me, it's not at all working as good as I expected. Especially now when I have no clue on what the bloody problem is

I call her "Monster". TLDR = newborn in NICU for a month and fear that came with loosing her. Then the #AmericanMedicalBills that followed. Hence she's making me face the fears IE Monster.
