@tobalt You were saying earlier that you make devices which measure conductivity in metal films. By any chance did you make devices for measuring conductivity of water?
I noticed that cheap conductivity sensors use stainless steel electrodes. These would be two hundred dollar handhelds, or total dissolved solids (TDS) sensors in reverse osmosis filters for drinking water.
Industrial conductivity sensors use platinum electrodes. They cost thousands. Why do they use platinum electrodes instead of gold?
(I’m interested conductivity of water that has biology. More biology than tap water. More like seawater.)
