Hmm is the Lattice isp1016EA protect-able or not? Hard to find a correct datasheet. I repair an old, no-longer-made product which contains these, and about half are dead, making repair impossible.
If I can't copy a good one, how feasible would it be to re-engineer the function of such a chip? It's likely just glue logic, essentially driving ten channels of heaters (one out-opto for "on" control and one in-opto per channel) plus a few misc pins. This is over a 40-pin cable. Thoughts?
