@NickAlexeev People here often have mixed views. The younger generation does not have any way to compare, but the elderly people I interact with are often very mixed. They like some changes but miss the previous prices and basic quality of life. Also, their jobs were much more stable in the smaller town I live in. You picked a profession and did that for life, did it well, and lived a very good quality family life. Anyway, it is always very interesting to discuss such things with people,
and I am glad they forgive the American asking about the USSR.
Hi there. I need help selecting a PIC Microcontroller (or may be from a different brand) which is 1) Economical 2) Has 12 bit ADC 3) have at least 5 input channels.
Since I did not find a built in 12 bit ADC in PIC (I found 10 Bit), I am hoping to find PIC Mictrocontroller (32bit or 16 bit) which does not have ADC so i can use an external ADC.
@PlasmaHH External screen is attached, but I have been through every menu option - AFAIK, as well as the start-up Menu Select (used for SW upgrades) and could not find the right option
I am being a bit ginger with some buttons in some menus as they sound a bit like "irrevertable" things and I don't want to end up accidentally mucking up cal-data
well, no idea if it works for that one, but I search for "activate external monitor" rhode schwarz or something like that. everybody will search for that way round or ask in forums or tell you
maybe its too old though and you have to go into the bios (press del at bootup) setup
@PlasmaHH The Setup hardkey is one of the keys I have been digging through
Those seem to just be VIM-fanatics (like me) shortcuts for doing everything with keyboard
I like protocol trace though
Can you Gchat/mail me the link to the document you found? Seems like a valuable thing to have
If I get them working, feel free to send all your sub 2.7GHz testing stuff to me ;-)
The 1.5GHz Infiniium seems to be working okay, just the encoders on the rotational buttons need fixing
Have to say I'm happier with the CMU200 interfaces though. Infiniium uses Windows98 in stead of hard DOS and it pops up all kinds of nonsense like DST clock adjustment and what not, for which you need a mouse or a keyboard, neither of which are of course USB
Can't use any of the on-device rotational buttons as indication device so far as I know
when current is flowing through a wire, if the wire is divided into two parallel wires, in once of which there is current source, does the flowing current go through the current source and should we divide the initial current into two currents divided into the parallel wires?
Just make sure that you keep condensation/frost off the surface, and the panel is pointed right at the sun when you go from tropical/desert temps to -40
