@sempaiscuba I do not expect everyone to follow up on pictures, links etc. That is indeed time consuming and a bit much to ask. But there is some nonsense floating around here. What I refrained from is: after pointing out a serious flaw in a comment to just edit the post to what I'd think best. Fearing an edit war… One experiment I am running now is looking at a post of mine that edited by someone for politically motivated reasons, introducing such stuff that I consider nonsense in the process.
I thought it should be obvious to almost anyone reading it and waited… I guess I have to abandon that experiment in a week and correct it.

Q: Can anyone identify this uniform from SE Asia?

JANCan someone identify this uniform? I suspect it is from WW1 and was taken by an Australian photographer.. tho obviously not in Australia. It is part of a bigger historic pic.. a glass plate amongst a collection of plates which were shot around 1910-20
