@RoryAlsop @HendrikBrummermann If you're talking about the answer I think you are, my problem is that it appears to conflict with our "anti-blackhat" policy. Sure, the answers are perhaps the most practical for most parents (Although, who really wants to go through the trouble of hooking and un-hooking up all those cables whenever they want to use their own computer?) but it also spends more focus on methods that can be used to bypass other security measures than it does really on the fix.

Even after the edit, it still reads more like "I could hack around all that, and here's how I'd do it" than "here's how to keep your son off his computer when he doesn't belong on it".

@Iszi, the answer says "Simply lock the door of the room containing the computer;-)".

@HendrikBrummermann Ah. That's hardly an actual answer, though. I mean, sure it would work but it leaves out all the reasons why it is necessary and it also is operating under the presumption that the computer is in a room which can be locked.

@Iszi I think it's a SEI thing. Whenever a blog post is published the chat link, on the top bar, is replaced with the blog link.

Also, there's a link to the blog on the footer. We've talked about how lame those are, though.
