they may be in the top 250 though, depending on your love of dough and/or nuts and/or circles with holes in the middle and/or jam and/or custard and/or sugar and/or ...
you are literally both correct, since "donuts" and "doughnuts" are different things!!
now shaaddaaap!!
This room was placed in timeout for 10 seconds; the topic of this room is "The first breach costs you an arm...." - conversation should be limited to that topic.
@RoryAlsop IIRC there are but I've not played long enough to get one, docking wasn't too bad once you get used to it.. not sure on the soundtrack so far, will be interesting to see if hall of the mountain king features as well for that old-school feel
@Noordung it's self fulfilling, the first breach resulted in the chat going into lock down, therefore once it comes out of lock down you should talk about the events that lead to the room being locked down
@RоryMcCune meh, I've done this enough to be bored
I saw a video on youtube ages ago of somebody docking with their engines off, with silent running on, based on the momentum gained from a single afterburn with flight control off
@Undo was that method of seeing who was flagging ever properly implemented in a way that made it nice and easy to use, and if so, you can see who is doing all the flagging, right?
I'm saying that the fact the flags are still happening that the moderators are letting the side down
so why don't you just put the room in cooldown like you people normally do, punish your regular users rather than solving the problem, and then we can sit here in silence while they still keep flagging
Anyway, my work here is done. @Rory feel free to unsuspend and put in whatever number of hours you want in the suspend box, it'll go to 9999 and further if you extend the max-length on the box.
@raz There was a problem on a production system (timeouts...) and there was a suspicion that a CA was taking too much time to respond.
So they put up a Network Monitor to see the traffic between the CA and the server that talks to the CA.
That traffic is SSL.
For some reason, the version of Network Monitor they installed was not able to decode the handshake packets (that are not encrypted). They just had the hex dump of the packets.
I've been trying to figure out how to run Wireshark on an old Macbook Pro, but apparently it's harder than one would think to catch everything on the network.
@Undo Last time I was toying around with it, I remember accidentally catching everything on the WiFi (WPA2 PSK) when I was just looking for local traffic. So, it shouldn't be hard.
@Undo we had an unprotected wireless network for the CS department in college and I was sitting there and able to see every AIM conversation in the classroom
Google "Christmas poems for cards" in hopes of finding something that is 6 lines or less... End up finding pages and pages of poems that are like 25 lines. Who writes these on Christmas cards?!
@Simon Once ordered something from Canada. Took them 3 or 4 months to deliver (stamped on the day that the seller told me she sent it). Before that I'd never ordered anything from Canada, I'd just heard the stories.
