OK so (s)he's now really making it a popularity contest. Got two upvotes in the last half an hour on a post that's not an answer, that had net negative score before, on a question that didn't get any other activity today. And the other two answers' scores didn't change in the meantime, and all of a sudden his/her comments have upvotes too.

OP doesn't suggest anywhere in the question that we forward-contaminate other celestials, or indeed that we do that on any that it could possibly matter. E.g. we've inadvertently already done that on the Moon during the Apollo missions. Neither does OP suggest any mode of preserving the genetic makeup of life on Earth. It's entirely possible to construct such a Noah's ark that would sterilize any samples if breach of a sealed environment is detected. @Gilles That wouldn't be a bad idea if they were ever around. That post had a "not an answer" flag for half a day now and there were only three flags to clear today (one still stays, it's another one of my flags so other mods have a look at it). In reality, I do about 80% of mod work on the site since the start, about 95% of it for the past year, and I'm the only one actually creating activities and posting detailed answers in meta.

create an application that tracks where you browse with explorer, and then make it so that when you run that application with a specific command line parameter it launches explorer.exe with that path, then create a shortcut to that new application with said command line parameter in place
