In central Scotland it never really does bad weather. The highest wind speed we have had here in the last 20 years is only a force 8, we don't get hurricanes or tornados, it doesn't get over about 30 degrees or below about -20, and while it is often damp, nowhere in Britain has rain like India, Malaysia or even continental Europe

so I think Brits complain about the weather just because it is so middle of the road boring
