@Jafe This could also be ES, EST or ETES in French. No idea whether Monagasque differs in those areas...

ah good point
EST would be "is", though, right?
so it would be "tons of (american?)" around and plus ES/ETES, for a word meaning (american?) weapons
not actually sure what the and would be doing there... AND+ES is already 5 letters so it doesn't leave enough for the rest
maybe and is the connector and "around" is the def?

@Jafe What, you mean you don't say 'he are'?! (Yes, you're totally right, oops!)
'Tons' could either be two T's, or we could be looking for a word meaning 'tons of' in US slang, the equivalent of 'lots' or 'loads' or whatever they say over the pond :)
e.g. the equivalent of PI(ES)LES, if PIESLES meant 'weapons'

7:32 AM
in the words of frank zappa, you are what you is
yeah still not convinced the "and" makes sense in that case... "around and X, Y" for inserting X into Y is a bit weird

Banker Tanker"X % Y " means "X is father of Y". "X = Y " means "X is daughter of Y". "X + Y " means "X is son of Y". "X ÷ Y " means "X is wife of Y". C=D÷F?H÷J. What should come in place of '?' in the expression, if C is sister-in-law of J?

Q: Three people sit down for a meal in France, who is the time traveller?

PuzzlingFerretAs the time traveller and the two others sit down at a table to eat and drink, they discuss who they are (but without giving their names). Then one of the three says, "We are all..." And pauses, before continuing "Let's make this a game, you'll have to guess the word I'm thinking of. Here are thr...

In Monegasque, apparently, "are" is ê, séi, sémmo, són, or én.

CCCC hint 2: the first letter is C
