what
Seven Bridges of Königsberg is not a dupe?
(at least I can't find one)

back again... so if we're assuming a given column of numbers marries up with a given row of numbers, perhaps the three sets are hollow circles, filled circles and connecting lines (sans circles). With the black squares filling the gaps and thus not identified.
Which would explain why one row/column in each set has higher numbers... you'd expect more lines than circles

12:17 AM
@ffao Not exactly a dupe, but this one presupposes the answer.

yes, but then a question that actually has the answer explained is still valuable

The older question has links to pages that explain the answer, and at least one of its answers also explains.

a link is not good enough to be a standalone answer for all the known reasons
and as one of the answers on that questions says, "The real puzzle is figuring out why there has to be zero or two nodes with an odd number of entry/exits"
which no answer actually explains
including the answer given to the question above

This answer provides an explanation.

yeah, that one does

12:35 AM
@ffao/@GarethMcCaughan Is this similar enough: puzzling.stackexchange.com/questions/12599/…

I'm inclined to think so. The only difference is that the particular graph shown is a different one, but the principle is exactly the same.

I wasn't too keen on the other one, but this one looks good enough

@feelinferrety glad to provide that entirely necessary aside. :)

wow
a whole bunch of people upvoted this recently
now i hit the milestone

Because of a nomination in meta

@stacksfiller Congrats. A worthy milestone. :)

so now i guess i'll never get another upvvote :p
no one would want to disturb that balance

I do admit, part of me genuinely hopes so

Same here...

1:44 AM
I'm happy enough now

out of curiosity, roughly how many hours went into the construction?

I thought it'd never hit 140 even possibly when i posted it
i do not have any idea

which roughly translates as lots :)

i'm bad at estimating time enough when it's a solid block, but making puzzles is so scattered for me and a bunch of bits and pieces
I have the title and answer and theme for my next puzzle, but not the entirety of the middle bit -- i.e. most of it

yeah, totally understand. I wouldn't be any better. I've been working on my current one for nearly a calendar year, but who knows how much actual time has gone into it.
Sounds like one I have in my notes that I'm keen to do. An awesome presentation idea (i've even done so PoC work), but no actual puzzle to present.

1:50 AM
I'm surprised by how many people read meta
it was almost 20 short of 140

i got too many votes on one of my ppcg challenges once

@DestructibleLemon too many?

the covfefe one

Q: What is Trinity Hall Prime number?

SHIV DUTTIt is a prime number with 1350 many digits. I did not get much information about this number on the internet. Question : What is Trinity Hall Prime number? I watched this video but did not get the number.

Sid
Ah ha! Interesting

I think the scribbling (or whatever) may be irrelevant -- that was just the nearest thing he had to hand with the Trinity Hall shield on it, perhaps.
