two beefy Dell R510s, one in each room
two EMC VNXe storage devices, one in each room.
The goal
Ensure that if one server room goes down, VMs can continue to come back up & function.
Thinking:
install Hyper-V on these two...
php_curl is enabled as a PHP extension in WAMPs menu.
When I view the php.ini file for WAMP curl is uncommented. eg
;extension=php_bz2.dll
extension=php_curl.dll
And yet phpinfo() makes no mention of curl. Even after I "Restart All Services".
Any ideas?
I'll have to make myself a webpage or something with links to all the FF Addons I typically use. The list is getting big enough I'm not sure I'd just remember them
@tombull89 Depends on what they're doing exactly... But if they can't get it working they're almost certainly not an admin, cause the software really ain't that hard to install.

So powershell gurus, is there some built-in function that will add the proper escape characters \ to a string I am passing as a get-wmiobject -filter? as int I have something like \\?\Volume... and it needs to be \\\\Volume?\\... for get-wmiobject to be happy.
USING THE ESCAPE CHARACTER WQL uses the backslash (\) as its escape character. This is different from Windows PowerShell, which uses the backtick character (`). ... In some case, the backslash also needs to be escaped.
so anybody ever debugged Windows PPTP dialups? I just tried that and a failed connection created a monstrosity of nearly 5 MB of client-side "logs". Is there something sane which just tells me what phase of the PPTP exchange is failing why?
I need to clean my system and redo it all. Is there any easy way to get rid of every single package I've installed (to a point where it's CentOS minimal)? I can't remember all of the packages and
yum list installed
pulls up a list of 1,000s of packages.
