Oh, just send them an email saying that your school is not listed. They'll most likely ask for a schedule or report card. Just copy it and then send it to them.
I have created a very simple ASP.NET MVC3 application that runs just fine in the Visual Studio debugger.
However, I have tried to add this application to my local IIS installation. I added the project by right-clicking Sites and clicking "Add Web Site" (specifying the project's folder and settin...
So, I bought a nice disk holder called a JBOD, and 3 750GB disks and a cheap RAID adapter. Well only 1 of the disks works, I think It'll fail soon. The RAID card sucks... in essence I need to redesign my storage setup. Well I just got paid about 200 bucks. I also need to turn this workstation into a server for the company(backups) I have a 1TB drive full of data I want to keep.
I added an ASP.NET MVC3 site to ISS (which was working fine in the debugger). When viewing the site in a browser, everything appeared to be working fine except that all of the CSS and JS files were returning a 404.
Here is the site in IIS Manager:

Portability; the laptop is more for computing from in front of the TV or on the go... This workstation is my "powerhouse" so to say. That and the smaller one is a tablet.
@CodyHarlow It's spring break here. Teachers and students are off for the full week. We, of course, have to work, but this is really the best time for us. Nobody around to complain about changes/outages.
ditto... we've just had half the suspended floor up in one of our server rooms and used the corridor outside to put together a nice long cable loom to lay underneath it
35 off, it was better than I tought. Probably the NginX question I deleted after the guy suggested that paying Expertsexchange was better than asking here
Just about the only way would to be to scan for keywords, quite honestly that won't work very well, you might as well unblock all of YouTube if it is needed.
A common saying here:
Don't use technology for a management problem.
This is really a management issue and should be dealt with as ...
Sure does. I still get the odd upvote for some of my highest voted answers. I guess people think "wow, this has a load of upvotes - must be good" and do the same
@Jacob RE: Akamai, my test here is showing Windows Updates hitting MS and then a local major ISP (likely an Akamai Edge Platform device) to download updates.
"Holidays" are by far the best time to be at work for just that reason. We haven't even turned on the office lights. The rest of the techs are quietly sitting in the dark, clicking away.... No Help Desk phones ringing off-the-hook.
@CodyHarlow Active Directory. We're a Windows shop ~99%... Maybe two dozen OSX clients and a handful of Linux servers are the only deviation from the MS company line.
@Jacob Get to get out of the house, ride to work... We've got a few switches to move in the NOC. May also rearrange some servers so all the HP stuff is in consecutive order by age.
@Jacob there's understanding FOSS and living FOSS :) I want free software, free hardware, free certs, open standards and technologies, no patents and a reasonable copyright law :) (free as in speech)
Not everything should be FOSS... But a lot more than what currently is.. And we allow patents on damn near anything; I think the PTO has a hard time understanding what people are filing for, but if it comes from a larger corporation they just push it through instead of rightly rejecting it.
