Yeah. When my boss told me to rename it, my first thought was "Son of a bitch!". Nevermind all the crap that ended up happening afterwards. In all though, now I know to not do that again. EVER.

I'd like to think it's part of what makes me good at troubleshooting (usually). And the learning experience. But we're shorthanded with a lot of stuff to do.

My boss is the same way. He says if you can't figure it out in 15 minutes, move on to something else. I have trouble adopting that policy wholeheartedly.

I generally allow as long as it takes to redeploy a system - unless its something really important or smething I know realyl well

but our dell rep gets us good pricing on the intel kit
