@voretaq7 ever read this? howtogeek.com/198622/…
02:04
A friend and I tried to install as many IE toolbars as possible once. It was disastrous.
Even one toolbar is disastrous.

Looking at a toolbar download link is a mortal sin
I learned something interesting today: The FAA has apparently admitted we're all fat-asses
3
03:50
yeah. :P
04:08
It makes me feel better that I can say I actually learned something from the FAA's "knowledge" portion of the Wings "You need to actually have a flight review because you were a slacker" program.
I expected the little W&B module to be a joke but I actually missed that question

@voretaq7 im currently working for a team doing malware research, the team lead accidentally lost a usb drive loaded with goodies once. Maybe your guy found it? ;)
@falstro Nah, like most CEOs he has the terrible habit of downloading everything he sees (OOH SHINY!)
(He claims it was unintentional...)
Heh
and at the moment I leave everyone as an admin on their Macs - this is the first time it's gotten bad enough that I've had to sledgehammer a box (something on the machine was interfering with HTTPS connections - at that point it has to die)
Anyway, I'm late for my train. Seeya
Train and Train - WHAT IS TRAIN?
(Oh you mean the thing that goes to and from Manhattan, but would take twice as long as my car to go 20 miles due north.... FUCK YOU MTA!)
05:47
:)
Yeah. I used to have a pretty good connection. nice and empty too in the morning which is good for those who hate people, especially in the morning
But i suppose they did the fiscally responsible thing and cancelled it
Now I have to take a crammed line that takes 20 minutes longer (effectively ending up taking twice as long as going by car)
On top of that the gear shifting mechanism on my bike is broken and i only have first gear. :P
06:22
@voretaq7 everyone over 13 weighs an average of 158 lbs for women, and 179 for men. That seems about right.
@BretCopeland I know, I'm just surprised the FAA saw fit to update the GA numbers from the ancient FAA-Standard-170lb-anorexic-supermodel
I know the airline numbers were adjusted a long time ago
I wish the weather would just be nice again. I'm not sure I'm going to get any flying in this month.
I didn't fly last January either.
heh, it just needs to be decent Wednesday for my flight review, otherwise I'll have to do it after I turn into a legislative pumpkin and that will make me sad because I can't log it as PIC time :(
Is your airplane in working order again?
What really sucks is we're pretty much done with 31W but I'm probably not bringing her home until february with the way this weather looks - Winds Saturday, snow Sunday, and probably snow or rain next weekend
@BretCopeland All reassembled, just wrapping up the paperwork at this point
I'm probably doing my flight review in one of the -DCs unless the weather cooperates and I can do the flight test on 31W and bring her home Saturday
(and around here "cooperate" isn't in the weather's vocabulary from January to March, so...)
06:51
@voretaq7 DCs?

9 hours later…
16:17
@BretCopeland The warriors they bought from Dowling (N132DC and I think N158DC)
(I would do it in one of the Archers, but I'm not spending the extra cash for the horsepower I'm used to when it's going to be attached to a wing I don't like :P)
rbp
rbp
16:57
can't tell 20 HP really
they fly pretty much the same

2 hours later…
18:42
@rbp ohhhh yes you can
at least you can in the square-wing Cherokees
19:17
@rbp This is an example where the first answer wasn't accepted. :)
19:41
@Farhan Well it's just not fair including pictures and more than one sentence.
@fooot A picture is a thousand words.
Everything is fair in love and war answering questions.

1 hour later…
21:04
How to sneak chocolate undetected into a US cinema http://t.co/Nq67FMqMs4
hah yeah I saw that yesterday
sad part is it'll probably work
I rarely laugh at my twitter feed. Had to make an exception for that one :)
21:56
unf. I'm off to bed. g'night
@falstro I wish I could go to bed now too.
22:39
Are there airplanes with only these types of engines:
Not considering gliders, helicopters and paper airplanes
22:57
@Farhan Are you asking if those are the only turbine-powered engine types?
Used on current aircraft.
@voretaq7 -- I'm still baffled by the idea that moving the CG of an airplane up/down could have any impact on flight dynamics, but can't seem to get my head around the physics needed to disprove it...
23:29
@Shalvenay Up and down will displace it versus both pitch and roll axes.
