Well I think the aerial photography question went rather well. Makes me want to ask more "what the best plane to do this in" types of questions. They seem to suit the site well.
@shortstheory Last I checked helicopters are a bit more expensive to rent and, on top of that, they are a lot more vibraty and I'm trying to avoid spending money on a stabilization rig. All of that being said, getting a small helicopter still may be an option. Just maybe not as obvious as it initially sounds.

@JayCarr I think as long as you don't ask for a specific make or model, they'll be ok. The idea with a big removable door for parachute jumping seems like good answer.
