Q: Why won't AnyDice let me store dice rolls in variables?

HypergardensI'm trying to emulate a "Fate-like" distribution that imitates 1d6-1d6. That's not really the point, so much as I don't understand the error it gives me. function: ff { BLUE: d6 RED: d6 if BLUE < RED { result: BLUE } if BLUE > RED { result: -RED } result: 0 } output [ff] na...

Q: The Enlarge spell only effects one creature or object and its wording is ambiguous. What happens to a creature's armor or clothing if it grows?

user3878824In AD&D 1e Player's Handbook, the Enlarge spell description specifically states: It can be cast upon only a single creature or object. It makes a differentiation between living and non-living matter: The maximum volume of living material which can be initially affected is 10 cubic feet - for n...

Q: How would D&D 5e spellcasters investigate an anonymous attack?

PeterisThe adventuring party (D&D 5e level 5) have just managed to commit an audacious attack, destroying an important, visible monument. For the sake of argument let's assume that they have managed to do so without anyone seeing who the attackers were and how they did it, and did not leave behind any "...

@Randal'Thor last time I spoke he was ok, but infrastructure damage means he's not as easy to contact now
@trogdor (also on the island) might be able to help pass a message if urgent

@AncientSwordRage Ah, good to know, thanks.

I've never heard of this system, but apparently there's a Kickstarter for 'They came from...' anthology trpg
Has anyone heard of or played that ^

Good morning all

@Ben hey there, how've things been?

Ben
[Deckard Cain voice] Stay a while and listen...
So much been going on

@Ben ah. things have been ramping up a bit at work over here as well

Ben
Work's been going well, family is... developing (ups and downs as life goes, but in a generally forward-ish... upward-ish direction), health hit a speed-bump, had an epilepsy attack and ran into a tree, rolled the car... miracle that the only damage done was a bit of nerve damage to my thumb - no one else around to get injured.
In terms of games, back into Dark Heresy, been dabbling in a couple of one-offs, had a play test of my Corruption System finally, and played a few rounds of Knave
Been a while since I stopped in, how have things been on your end?

11:46 PM
@Ben mostly alright from a personal standpoint, at least. haven't had much chance to do PnP stuffs but maybe that might change in the future?

Ben
Fingers crossed for you!
