@djsmiley2kStaysInside Severance at 100% base pay to the end of the year and health insurance. A lot of companies aren't even doing this; they're just terminating people with nothing at all because they simply can't afford it. It's sad.
@Aibobot I really hope so. Mozilla selling a VPN service helps, but this doesn't change the fact that they're financially running on fumes.
Firefox is becoming a niche browser.

Hmm. So they're still on solid footing for the time being and this is mostly a move for long-term financial stability.
Let's hope it stays this way. I use Firefox because 1) it's the last major browser that uses something other than Blink as its core rendering engine and 2) it lets me run my own Sync server.
