It's funny how my laptop will charge from an ordinary USB charger, even if at just 4.5W. The only things needed are a USB power source of some sort and a USB Type-A to Type-C cable.

they were like 'yeah the bar under this door is rusted out, will likely fail mot and need repairing before next year' - 3 years later and they still haven't failed it ;D
The one thing that does concern me a little is what if you need an uneconomical repair to pass an MOT on a HP car? On a car owned outright you can say "welp, scrap it"; on a HP you'd presumably need to pay the rest off...
I mean, I guess it's not that different to buying a car outright and being 'forced' to scrap it, but it'd be problematic if you didn't have the funds to pay off the rest of the car
And if you did have the funds, presumably you'd pay it off to try to avoid some interest...
@rahuldottech You got kicked and have now repeated the same behaviour. Please take a 1 hour break from abusing R/A. When you come come back hopefully you will have learned not to be disruptive again, otherwise you will be taking extended breaks.
> Among the sins I've heard confessed, "LOL" was but once combined with "lest". "LOL" is a kind of litmus test: Lest used with "lest", it makes you blessed.
No, but I just needed to be sure you weren't falling for the age-old fallacy that "if you make more money, you lose more money, so don't take the raise"-kind of thinking
My last boss tried pulling that on me. I asked for a raise, he said that would put me in the next tax bracket and I'd go home with even less money than I was making at the time... I gave him a pretty unique "What the fsck?" look
Hmm... Radeon VII will get a subset of the Radeon Pro features. That actually makes sense given the target audience of this card.
I'd say Radeon VII is AMD's TITAN moment, a worthy competitor to the NVIDIA TITAN V (though not the TITAN RTX).
However, it's pretty clear the card was rushed to launch and doesn't really put the 7nm technology in the best light. Driver updates and game optimizations would definitely help here.
Performance can be anywhere between GTX 1080 and RTX 2080 Ti levels, though averaging slightly worse than the RTX 2080. The extremely high memory bandwidth gives it a slight performance advantage at higher resolutions, but I keep getting the feeling that AMD and developers aren't really making good use of the Vega 20 GPU's execution resources.
Essentially, the amount of data backed up per device has exceeded the rate of cost-per-gigabyte decreases, and the service as a whole has greatly improved over the years.
It's been over a decade since Backblaze launched. A price hike makes sense at this point.
Those with existing subscriptions still have one more chance to add one year of service at the original $50 rate.
@CanadianLuke True. There's really very little reason to even use .rar (I can see .zip still being used due to widespread compatibility), and absolutely no reason to use WinZin or WinRar
@bwDraco sure, when people are talking in the room. The next message wasn't posted till three hours afterwards.
.rar was supposed to be superior to zip, but now it's almost never seen in the wild, with most opting for either the even more superior .7z or the venerable .zip
tbh the only reason I even use .zip is because it's suuuuuuuper easy to select and archive files into it from Windows Explorer
And I rarely deal with files large enough that the compression scheme matters
(Also, cPanel natively supports .zip (de-)compression which is handy)
