@Ramhound I'm sure you checked already, but is your ISP blocking traffic, so nothing to forward? OTOH, if it's internal attempts, do you have it set to protect from internal traffic?
Just couple ideas from my past. Router protecting port forwards from the LAN drove me nuts till I found the setting. Some old Linksys that I don't have now.
I've always looked for it in the router and turned it off. It hasn't broken anything yet, and I just know so little about security, that I try to only enable, or use, what I have to, and try to learn what I can about what I do have to use.
That's going to be the worst part about switching to a dedi box, whenever I do. Just don't know security.
I think I have to use a different disto of openwrt (lede is a fork) this build I think I need to use indicates it has support for upnp but the upgrade instructions are vague.
Choices choices, what I really want is to connect my router to my vpn (lifetime subscription) but while my vpn provider does support it I only ever did it through their client
General notice to clean up weekend editors: It seems that the status Image no longer available is not always accurate. I have found some that were available that said they were not. Please recheck the availability before making major edits to remove the images completely.

Got one of the image clean ups that, rather than reposting the image, referenced the one he posted elsewhere - now deleted. Maybe the image in that post is still good, and can be used to fix the current one.
@JourneymanGeek When doing the tag cleanup is there any point in cleaning up questions that are closed as off-topic or unclear? Will these remain, or will they end up being deleted later anyway?
@Bob Around here, lots of places have begun to offer a "call back" feature. Enter you number, and when you're next in the queue it calls back. Claim "you won't loose your turn." I've had a call back as late as 5 hours later.
Fortunately, I rarely involved in something else. Either I'm home, and available, or gone, and don't get called anyway.
I feel like I'm spinning my wheels with the tag clean up. I can only do 5 at a time, then wait for two people to review them before I can do any more. Doing my part, but feels like trying to rescue sand from the waves.

What do we call tags that are being taken out of use? I noticed the guidance tag for recovery says "deprecated", but that doesn't mean "retired/banned", etc.

Yes, I saw that. But deprecated means "disapprove of", not "don't use". When a command is deprecated, it's still supported, but the developers are planning to retire it and are giving users a heads-up so they can transition to another solution. Maybe I'm being too picky, but I work in a 0s and 1s world after all. ;)

Well, that explains a lot. I've been watching my achievement box of rep updates so that I know when edits have been approved and that I can continue on. Couldn't figure out what was taking so long for the queue to clear. Figured it out, finally.
