Apple rejected our iOS app update because our promo material screenshots contained the word "demo". We've been using the same screenshots for years and now they reject the update >:(

The list includes sovereign states and self-governing dependent territories based upon the ISO standard ISO 3166-1. The list also includes but does not rank unrecognized but de facto independent countries. The figures in the following table are based on areas including inland water bodies (lakes, reservoirs, rivers).
Figures used in this article are mainly based on the latest censuses and official estimates (or...
I think a good example is baen books. I could download books from bitorrent or libgen (if they're up), but its actually less painful for me to buy new releases from them (at a discount) as part of a bundle
But without stupid arbitrary restrictions and drama over "Oh I'm not releasing this album on THIS service for 3 months until this OTHER service that pays me more ends their exclusivity contract"
Today I reinstalled my Windows 7 (Pirated :p ) and discovered that is NOT Genuine.
So I have to active it with Windows 7 Activator.
now I want to know how the activator works, is this possible to make a activator with Visual Studio???
Thanks
Its not rediculously difficult to pirate software. I actually get the theory they use for modern windows 7 cracks (emulating a system preinstall) which is pretty clever
"Disshhhiiiaaaaa, yap??? Oh you?, how r u, oh me??? I m a programmer (I think :p). But a GAMER also :p Love Android, for "ULTA PALTA" names :p. Read in class 7, and age is 12 :p. Dishhhhhiiaaa, righf??? :p"
(In all seriousness I can't be bothered dealing with those hacks... Easier and a better use of my time to just pay, not to mention the whole ethics thing)
Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (Windows ADK), formerly Windows Automated Installation Kit (Windows AIK or WAIK), is a collection of tools and technologies produced by Microsoft designed to help deploy Microsoft Windows operating system images to target computers or to a VHD (Virtual Hard Disk). It was first introduced with Windows Vista. WAIK is a required component of Microsoft Deployment Toolkit.

I plan to buy a 4k 28" screen in order to replace my dual full-hd screen.
The main reason for this is to have "more screens" in front of me.
I plan to use it like if I had 4 full hd screens in front of me, meaning I will have 4 various applications opened at the same time and visible.
I know th...
IMO "sort of". Its definately better and sharper, but native 4k content is pretty rare.
I'm looking at a 1080p and a 2180p display right now. I do do some sort of upsampling in my video player for 720p video and it looks fine. (Would screenshots be of help here? I donno).
There's a lot of disa...
A malfunction indicator lamp (MIL), also known as a check engine light, is a tell-tale to indicate malfunction of a computerized engine management system. It is found on the instrument panel of most automobiles. When illuminated, it is typically either an amber or red color. On vehicles equipped with OBD-II, the light has two stages: steady (indicating a minor fault such as a loose gas cap or failing oxygen sensor) and flashing (indicating a severe fault, that could potentially damage the catalytic converter if left uncorrected for an extended period). When the MIL is lit, the engine control unit...

@qasdfdsaq easily resettable (or diagnosable) by OBD-II
A tell-tale (or idiot light, especially in North America) is an indicator of the status or malfunction of a system within a motor vehicle. A tell-tale consists of a light bulb or an LED which lights up a symbol or text legend.
The "idiot light" terminology arises from popular frustration with automakers' use of tell-tales for crucial functions which could previously be monitored by gauges, so a troublesome condition could be detected and corrected early. Such early detection of problems with, for example, engine temperature or oil pressure or charging system operation is not possible via a tell...

@qasdfdsaq do you have a problem with your car or are you purely reading wikipedia for the sake of it?
> The MIL is also illuminated prior to starting the engine, along with other tell-tales on the dashboard, to demonstrate that the lamp is working and not burned out. The lamp will turn off once the car is started if no monitored faults exist. The MIL will also illuminate if the engine has been cranked but failed to start after returning the ignition to "ON."
Yeah, so it's a check check engine light check.
xD

@qasdfdsaq I mean, it's been years since cars stopped using lamps on the dashboard
