@allquixotic I know what you mean, but it was a pet peeve of mine asking ISPs about IPv6 support and being told "oh, that's too new, we don't need to support it yet"
It's been in development since the early to mid nineties for frack sake
It's not something which just popped up out the blue
(something something something IP-NG, something something something Linux alpha support in 1996)

I find it more and more frustrating that windows is making the update process so difficult

Yes, I know Linux alpha support in 1996 meant jack diddly squat in terms of mass adoption from a consumer ISP point of view
But v4 exhaustion was known about for years, v6 has been implementable for ages
the "too new" excuse doesn't cut the mustard
dismounts, then hitches high horse
@Burgi Fever?

@bertieb i did wake up drench in sweat but i wouldn't say feverish

Hum

11 hours ago, by Burgi
man these hayfever tablets have fucked me up massively

11:22 PM
Does sound like you've got something, you mentioned feeling unwell earlier in the day too (albeit in relation to antihistamines)

i've stopped taking them

Hayfever tablets shouldn't give you the super sweats
Unless, bizarrely, they're cut with MDMA or somesuch

i might be having a reaction to the active ingredient of this particular type

Might be the dreaded lurgy

or it could be that

11:24 PM
Cetirizine?
Loratidine?
One of the nice sleepy hayfever tablets?
Or whatever Roseanne Barr was taking the other night when she <POLITICAL REFERENCE DETECTED, COMPILER ABORT>

hang on
cetirizine hydrochloride
they were the first ones i saw in sainsbury's

They're grand
(I recently ordered a whole bunch off ebay or Amazon just to get them for 2.something pence per tablet)

> Common side effects (affects less than 1 in 10 people)

Tiredness, feeling sleepy
Headache

Hyperthermia isn't on list of side effects per BNF

> Uncommon side effects (affects less than 1 in 100 people)

Asthenia (extreme fatigue) or feeling generally unwell

11:29 PM
They should be non-sedating (unlike piriton aka chlorphenamine)
Pretty unlikely tbh but possible

> Commonly reported side effects of cetirizine include headache (16%), dry mouth (5.7%), drowsiness (5–20%), and fatigue (5.6%)
i don't have the dry mouth

Those numbers seem high

ah! its marketed as Zirtek, i think those were the ones that fucked me up last time too
i should probably pay more attention to what i'm buying
what annoys me about hayfever tablets is they sell them in 1-a-day packs of up to 14 doses
thats £2 every fortnight
i want a botle of like 60 or 90 that will last the entire summer

@Burgi ebay, man

i'm not buying drugs off the internet

11:42 PM
Welp
I've tried nothing and I'm all out of ideas
:P
Lidl/Aldi are cheaper than Sainsburys (I'm willing to bet)

i'll just grumble about it and buy a different flavour of hayfever tablets tomorrow
you know what? i went to 3 different Coops and the spar shop first looking for them!

A pharmacy would have them, but probably as or more expensive than Sainsburys
@Burgi FWIW the ones I got off t'internet are sold in SuperDrug
Superdrug, even
Expiry just over a year

yeah the pharmacy was shut on the saturday, which is why i went into sainsburys(its next door)

Ahh

@bertieb We need a GDRP like legislation to pass IPv6

@ThatBrazilianGuy Amen

Then people be like

I can't complain so much anymore (shame!) as I get native v6 from my current ISP and it all Just Works™
