I get where you're coming from, but if you ask a question like that they think: will has 2700 answers, if 10% of those aren't accepted because they're abandoned, then you get a huuuuuge amount of rep

Their arguments just aren't fair, they say edits should be substantial, but everyone with edit rights can make trivial edits. Should those be forbidden then?
@IvoFlipse For that one, I really thought that was a good idea... I mean, without being big headed - I am good at computers! That is it... I am rubbish at English! I make tons of grammar mistakes, and I don't mind if people edit my answers, change "should of" to "should have" or something... I try to learn (although I probably would forget!). but, I don't see why it should push an answer/question to the top

I completely see your point, but, I didn't for one second assume/think I would gain from it... I said I am not that good with English! Maybe I need to rephrase! I sit in front of the computer trying to get a point out, then I realise I have missed the point or gone far too long, I then try to edit/shrink, and it doesn't always read well!... I mean no insult to Jeff, but, I feel it is a little silly having a rule, stopping things that are against it, then saying the rules are up for debate on a case by case basis...

@Mokubai hehe... This spot is just weird, he just seems to loose all control - then starts licking you at the same time! He doesn't try to fight it or run away, so, I don't think it hurts at all...

lucky you... I have tried training mine, and they are generally good... but... if it is raining outside or something, they will still go in the house... It drives me mad! We had expensive carpet and it is ruined / got rid of most of it :(
my wife was trying to train him tonight to bring shoes (you'd show him one shoe and he'd bring the other) -- but obvious fail. he just kept bringing any shoe he could find in the end because he knew he'd get food
He hasn't been neutered either, and, the vets said that may stop him... but... as it isn't really reversible and no one seems sure, I am just hesitant.

hmm, honestly not clicking so far. watched one about a border collie who jumped whenever his master went to get his leash (not a big problem IMO!). The instructions were basically to touch the dog with the foot mildly to assert authority - potentially uncool, but whatever, if that's what the owner wants to sign up to
