@IvoFlipse the computer management screens let you enable/disable devices and/or change/update their drivers, have a play in there

Though I have a keyboard + Mouse and Headset, I plugged in the keyboard plug (the old school one) though the wireless transmitter doesn't need it. And replugged the headset. After that I started to get problems :P

@Wil: Yeah, it's worse than I had back these days, I hope you try to correct it...

I see... I saw that Path in Process Monitor but couldn't tell, nice that he solved it with Reflector.

That's the next level of troubleshooting I want to be going for, learn to use stuff like Reflector and WinDBG properly and be able to do more than reading stack traces.

I'm going to bring it up on the user forum that most teams currently use, and see if people are interested. Starting to be a lot of robot-related sites, but they are each distinct it seems

at the lowest level, there's FIRST Lego League and Junior FIRST Lego League. They use mindstorms and make fairly small, simple bots. Elementary and middle-school ("junior high") students do it, ages ~8-14

then there's FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) which is high school and also uses NXT as a controller but with larger bots (not many legos, they just use it as a processor). at the varsity level there's the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) which is a big deal. The tournaments are literally a major sporting event - we fill the local sporting arena. Large companies like Microsoft and Boeing are sponsors, and the students do everything from construction to programming. It uses the NI cRIO platform

most teams use LabVIEW, and a lot of them do things with AutoCAD and the like

there'd be much more of an audience there; i'm sure some of the programmers on FRC teams are already on stack overflow - 3 of us on my team were on SE sites when i did it

plus there's lots of mentors, some of who surely have been exposed to it, being in the tech industry
