Right, I agree our religion doesn't say to reject other gods, but Brahman is different from other devatas like Indra, etc. In the Gita, God says worshippers of other gods go to their realms whereas my worshipper comes to me (moksha), and then Krishna says the famous 18.66 shloka, "surrender to me."
And of all the sampradays in Hinduism, sri vaishnavism is the closest to the abrahamic religions in regard to this, since after samashrayanam or sharanagati, we don't worship the anyadevatas. But yeah our Brahman doesn't proclaim "abandon other gods". In fact, they are there to give material fruits.
