@Ikshvaku Brahman is seen through all the devatas. That's what the famous Rig Veda mantra says. "Indram Mitram Varunam Agnim... ekam sat viprAh bahudhA vadanti"

This is how Abrahamic religions are different from the Brahman concept in Hinduism

If you read about other "pagan" religions like Native American traditions, ancient Greek, Roman, Norse religions, they all have the concept of a "universal spirit" that is seen in the forms of many deities. This is equivalent to Brahman concept.

Also, there is evidence from ancient Greek writers who knew about Hindu gods, that they equated their gods with Hindu gods... this is true universal vision.

So this addresses the original topic that Hinduism and other pagan religions have a lot in common. And they stand apart from Abrahamic religions.

In the Gita 18.66: sarvadharmAn parityajya mAmekam sharaNam vraja", dharmAh does not mean "religions". It means "mentalities" or "actions".

@Ikshvaku Yeah, I'm also born in a Srivaishnava family, but I must disagree with the Srivaishnava doctrine about this exclusivity. This same kind of exclusivity is also seen in Madhva sampradaya, they also worship Vishnu exclusively. The Vedas are the ultimate authority, and this kind of exclusivity is not taught in Vedas.
