@0stone0 websites need 5 true positives with 0 false positives before they can be added to blacklist. For this particular case, as already states by the Dragon, it had so many hits that it got autoflagged anyways
there's more detailed info on the website about this :)

@JeffSchaller Ah, I get it. I thought the minimum accuracy condition was per rule. But it's for the whole account. Makes sense, then - if I add a rule with 99.754 confidence, then most likely the total confidence falls below 99.75.
Well, looking at the query, it's not really multiplying confidences, but checks the tp/fp ratio of all in general. That'd have a similar effect, then.
I don't quite get it, myself, but I do agree that it's an overall condition that has to be met (hinted at with "Total accuracy")

\w*(?:word1|pattern2)\w* is this standard?
looking at 1544674518 Makyen \w*(?:约炮|約炮)\w*(?#slang for sex)
12:20
@micsthepick Seems like it was used because the words can exist among other word symbols.
The patterns are otherwise automatically bookended with \b on either side, e.g., watching word will essentially watch \bword\b thus will not trigger the watch when it finds "password". But with those Chinese words you probably want to catch then even with surrounding symbols.
yes, I noted as such in chat.stackexchange.com/rooms/155116/…, but the above pattern is still slow
\w*+ might help.
at the end maybe
at the start, and it changes the regex
OK, you're right about the start
It will make the regex useless
12:24
my suggestion is to limit the amount of matching chars?
And I guess changing the end doesn't make it significantly faster
max backtracking on a 28000 len string goes from 55999 to 55999 with either case
(this is from a custom regex library build with stack statistics and backtracking statistics that I made)
A reduction of zero is indeed not very significant :)
technically the backtracking one is just tracking how many times total we pop from the stack, instead of just the max depth

@Cow That pattern may be a North American number. If it is, please use a format which starts with an optional 1 followed by possible separator text and has the main number in the format 908-397-5246 where - could be a single alpha character or any [\W_]*+. Alternately, you can add the comment (?#IS NorAm) to the end of the pattern to force also using the alternate normalized form, or (?#NO NorAm) if it's not a North American phone number and it's incorrectly recognized as one. (?:brainhackers[\W_]*+(?:at[\W_]*+)?)?aol(?:[\W_]*+(?:dot[\W_]*+)?com)
