@Cow There's a lot of terminology for how Smokey works, so I'll try and give a big summary: Each post that's reported by SmokeDetector has a series of
reasons why it was reported. Each of these reasons can be looked at
in Metasmoke, and each of them have an associated
weight. Weight is the rough approximation of how severe a given reason is for a post to be reported. Some reasons (such as blacklist reasons) have a higher weight because they're very frequently found in true-positive reports. The weight of all reasons a post was reported for is combined to assign a total weight to the report, and that weight is used to determine whether it should be autoflagged.
