@metasmoke I know there is a lot of spam that passes through here but this one is one of the odder ones. Wagamama is a chain of Asian restaurants in the UK. However, doesn't appear that the site wagamamamenus.com is affiliated with them. I can't think of a good reason somebody would just make a site related to another business like this. The restaurants do already have their own official site.
Whatever that site is about smells fishy. And it's not the sushi.

@Fastnlight The first one seems most likely. Since they ask for SEO, they probably want to go towards the top of the search results and then prey on confused users somehow.
If I had to guess, it's probably going to be a fake food ordering service. Or just a good ol' fashioned "You got a virus" scam.

fp- feedback received on [MS] Problema con Codigo Angular y iPhone‭
My hypothesis is that somebody disseminated false information that somehow for some reason SO is going to hand over free iPhones. And given that all the "participants" so far have been from India and likely quite young, I'd assume that it was spread through WhatsApp. There is a big problem in India with spreading false information through private WhatsApp communication.

Now, whether that's a mistake, a "broken telephone" if you will (no pun intended), or it's a deliberate campaign against SO. Or just an innocent prank - I can't really say.

The biggest problem I have is identifying all of the "iPhone begging" posts. I have a tab with a search of "iphone" created:2d.. sorted by newest and I occasionally refresh it. That catches any post with the word in it. But not all posts seem to mention it. Some are just posting questions or answers that are totally useless, or even plagiarised. Usually in the iPhone spaces but not always. I assume it's their attempt to "register" or something for that mythical free iPhone.

I have another tab sitting at a search [iphone] or [ios] created:2d.. and sorted newest. I also periodically check it for all new posts in those two tags. But it's harder - a lot more posts. Most of them legitimate, too.

@Vickel That pattern may be a North American number. If it is, please use a format which starts with an optional 1 followed by possible separator text and has the main number in the format 946-415-8317 where - could be a single alpha character or any [\W_]*+. Alternately, you can add the comment (?#IS NorAm) to the end of the pattern to force also using the alternate normalized form, or (?#NO NorAm) if it's not a North American phone number and it's incorrectly recognized as one. Perhaps try !!/watch-number 946-415-8317. Append -force to the command word(s) if you really want to add the pattern you provided.

@SmokeDetector Just AI garbage. At this point it's not even something for the AI policy, the question "asks" (a prompt) and "answers" (the response) something completely off-topic.

I didn't even flag it because it's iPhone related. I found it because it's iPhone related but, IMO, the same level of crap for any other topic is an abuse of the platform.
Although, I have to also say - the user's (lack of) history also played a part. New user account, first thing they post is an absolute waste of time - R/A. If they had any prior contributions, I might have not redflagged.
