Today, I saw a ton of posts by a ton of different account advertising the NBA. They completly filled the homepage and used up all my flags. What happened and how can this be prevented, since this has been going on for several hours and prevents the use of this site.
@Undo Well, it might do something, eventually. Your feedback should be received by SD and stored in a pickle as something that wasn't able to be transmitted to MS. If we build the parts in MS to include a time-offset as part of the data when receiving reports, feedback, etc., then that data can be transmitted to MS later and have the correct timestamps. Also needed would be the part in SD to send the backlog to MS, as that's not build yet, but should be relatively easy.

I literally took my first dose today but I didn't have any issues getting it. Maybe I'm getting something that's less common? The dual Autism/ADHD inattentive diagnosis pushed me towards one I hadn't heard of - Vyvanse?
@Catija i guess i'm lucky the ASD and ADHD portions of me don't need to be treated, but the underlying GAD (generalized anxiety disorder) that i've probably always had needed treated. ADHD I control with caffeine :P

@WaiHaLee Potentially. There's both human reasons and, potential, logging reasons. Others looking at the room will see the feedback and be more likely to look at things which have TP feedback of some sort. Feedback sent in chat during this period may end up on MS, but we'd need to write more code for that to actually happen, but it is being recorded so that's possible.
@Makyen @CodyGray More I'm projecting it out to spam getting harder to detect, if they ever get smart. Though I suppose they've had the option of getting smart for a very long time now and haven't taken it.
@Undo Yes, it will make it harder. However, they still have to have contact information somehow available in the spam, or it's just not effective. The substantial majority of our detections rely on detecting that contact information. While that contact information can be masked, they still have to have in in a way that's understandable to a human. That could make for a new class of spam that's more astroturfing information about the thing they are spamming, but putting it in actually relevant posts. Those are harder to detect and often require supplementary information to determine that it's really spam, rather than a naive poster.
