@JeffSchaller While I understand that it's frustrating to see yourself trying to add things that are already added, please don't take it to mean that you shouldn't try to add things. We'd much rather people try to add things that have already been added than to not have something added which should have been. We all try to add things which are already covered. That's why SD checks. It shouldn't be something that feels negative, at least not negative enough to stop.
I do know from personal experience that it feels like I've made a mistake when that happens to me, but it's really better to try than to not do so. After all, the checks exist in SD so we don't need to be perfect about it, or even that we should be putting a lot of effort into preventing trying to add something again.
Also probably-unnecessary disclosure: Magisk was created by an employee of my employer, though it was created before his time at the company and is not a company project.
I had actually sent it before checking the number of hits, and the thought process in my head was "hmmm, 'magisk module' seems a bit overbroad, oh wait that also catches 'magisk', that's way overbroad." and then failed to catch myself until I re-read it 🙈
while there are a pretty healthy number (~9xx) of hits, I'd probably have guessed even higher
