@Makyen That pattern looks like it's already caught by Mostly non-latin answer and Mostly non-latin body Append -force to the command word(s) if you really want to add the pattern you provided.
@CodyGray Because using all lowercase letters is generally preferred. I had happened to miss the entry the first time I greped the files for it because I failed to add a -i argument to the second grep command, so it was specifically on my mind.
I, generally, use the casing in which the expression originally appeared or most commonly tends to appear. I thought that was also the general policy. Would you actually prefer that we explicitly lowercase watch expressions?
I, personally, prefer it, but it's not required. From what I've seen, doing so generally makes things easier to find and more likely to have actual duplicate entries explicitly match.
By "easier to find", I mostly mean when someone tries to blacklist an entry. People will often/sometimes guess at what the actual entry is on the watchlist in their first !!/blacklist-* command. If things are usually lowercased, it makes the guess a bit more likely to match.
It's difficult to understand why someone would guess when they can use the bisect command and/or the chat search to find out exactly what they are doing.

Should we really be taking steps to slightly increase the accuracy of guessing instead of encouraging people to stop guessing, especially with something as important as the blacklist?
@Pilot6 Reports of posts where the user has vandalized their own content, such as this one, should be marked tp. There's a detailed explanation of this in the feedback guidance. If you're using FIRE, there'll be a helpful "pencil" icon next to the report in chat, indicating that the post has been edited.

A proxy company (Asocks dot com) sent me a loverly email proposing, essentially, that I ‘support’ asocks on SO in exchange for perks and pay. They are clearly not aware I’m a moderator or if they do they don’t yet understand what that means. I already found a user that very recently started astroturfing the company and I expect there to be more. Can we add the domain to the watchlist, at the very least?
@MartijnPieters What do you think about stackoverflow.com/a/75451048/10871900? (same user/author of selenium-profiles) which you also edited? In this post, they seem to write about selenium-profiles as well without disclosing affiniation (as far as I have seen) without the OP mentioning it. However, they didn't link selenium-profiles in that answer but just used it (?).
@Mast The extra complexity is for when/if it goes on the website blacklist, which doesn't have any bookending. The intent is to allow it to catch subdomains, but not other domains which just have "asocks.com" as part of their domain. The entry could start with a \b, but that's actually less computationally efficient than doing a look-behind to make sure the \b exists at the start, due to the huge number of \b which exist in normal text, so a lot of non-matching starts, whereas the lookbehinds are only evaluated after the main portion of the regex has matched, so a very low number of non-matching cases.
