@Machavity That pattern looks like it's already caught by Potentially bad keyword in body and Potentially bad keyword in answer Append -force to the command word(s) if you really want to add the pattern you provided.
@Spevacus The next time you encounter something on MS where you feel an admin should take a look at it, please use the "Something not right?" button just under the post's title. If you click on that, you should get a text area in which to enter a description of the issue which you feel should be addressed. Submitting that will add a task to the MS admin's review queue.
When flagging spam, I usually delete tags and replace them by tag-removed as well. I just received a comment suggesting that this is not useful. It probably doesn't matter much either way, as spam usually disappears quite quickly. Does anyone else have an opinion?
@VLAZ It does have one SE FP, although because the recent one wouldn’t otherwise be caught, I’d be inclined to watch it and check back in two ish weeks to ensure it didn’t generate tons of FPs. It has a handful of older TPs too, but they were caught by other reasons

@4b0 Unless you go though the process of adding a valid email (you will be emailed a link to reset/create a password) and then a password, then you won't have a password on MS and all authentication will be through login using your SE account. I thought that it's possible to change your username without adding a valid email and password, but I don't recall for sure. I'd need to spin up another and would need to spin up a new test account to double checked.
@tripleee Users who haven't added an email address have a one-time option to change/add a valid email address without a password. When they do so, they are, effectively, pushed through the password reset process.
the "stop impersonating" function does not work if you are logged in via Stack Exchange; clicking the button to verify my identity simply produces "you are already logged in"
in the end I was able to sign out and then back in as myself (and even then it said I'm already logged in after I clicked the "verify via Stack Exchange" button)
@tripleee That should be under the user list. IIRC, you must have have previously added a valid email and established a password on MS for your own account on MS.
the workaround is kind of obvious in the end, but the "stop impersonating" page should probably not offer the Stack Exchange verification option if that doesn't work (and perhaps display a warning that it doesn't)
I agree that the minimum would be to set user's expectations accurately. Ideally, it would properly authenticate via SE. It may be confused by the impersonation as to who to try authenticating as. I don't recall looking at that code. It could also be a general authentication issue, as it's reasonable to allow users to be able to at least update their username to match their current SE username.
For users with >= Flagger, it's reasonable to allow them to arbitrarily change their username (even though life is easier for humans if it matches their SE username.
@SmokeDetector curiously, the banned IP address is for their name server, which is using the IP address previously held by aoltechsupport247.com and some other spam domains
@SmokeDetector If you're gonna use that kind of abuse on Stack Overflow, pinging someone with the capacity to immediately remove your post is not a good idea.
is there a way to teach SD detect when post titles copy/plagiarise titles of very popular questions - say those with over 500K views (stackoverflow.com/search?q=views%3A500000), about 7500 total? Other indicators of thoublesome posts using this trick are: these are from new accounts and have quite brief text, like under 200 chars
