Its weird how these people (if they are people...) copy and paste a reddit post from days ago, wait about a day, and then edit in a random spam link. I guess they are hoping no one notices.
@TimmyJim it's one of the more insidious spammers, they managed to fly under the radar for good stretches of time; I guess they are constantly honing their skills

@SmokeDetector I'm not sure this is spam. The answer is suggesting a service that seems to be tailored to what the question asks for, and affiliation is disclosed. Custom flagged for a site mod to take a look at.

@SmokeDetector fp- ...probably FP? Their previous question is about this low-quality, but not offensive. That said, it could be a subtle troll, given the phrasing.
@Mast Yeah. Although I don't know if it was restored after being spam-deleted, or if a mod got to it first. There were only 3 spam flags on it at the time I think. The post is now at -5 again, possibly due to more flags from the report :(
For the 2 reports above a lot more of the users answers are have the link without disclosing it but is it better to raise spam flags due to the large mod flag queue on SO?
well depends on how you define a lot. I found 4 not reported. With one of them having a score of 24
@forest Please don't report answers just because the answer is NAA. The Charcoal project is really focused on finding spam and R/A posts. While SmokeDetector does detect some things which are NAA and that's an available feedback on reports, it's really not what we're trying to detect.
Largely, the difference for that type of post, which isn't inherently/strictly spam or R/A, is that if you think it should be R/A flagged, then it should probably be reported. If you don't think it should be red flagged, then it probably shouldn't be reported. We do, sometimes, report some posts which shouldn't be red flagged on their own, but that's usually because the post is useful to have recorded for some other reason (training, etc.).
