@tripleee Oh my you speak Emacs don't you. Emacs need an applause_sound_effect upon pressing M-x yay, with a hollergirl feedback yip, from the yip.py Python lib. And a standing ovation when you get past a dozen commands memorized. (Well, maybe for Spacemacs.)
@tripleee I thought SE was ASP (language), how are you Ruby (lang) Cowboy huh?
@prosody-GabeVereableContext we are not Stack Exchange. SmokeDetector is written in Python, which I am more familiar with; metasmoke is in Ruby, and I just managed to create what I hope is an acceptable PR
@tripleee The pattern starts with whitespace. In order for a "number" to make an exact match, the pattern must begin with a digit or up to two of +,(,[, or { immediately followed by a digit. Append -force to the command if you really want to add the pattern you entered.
@tripleee Ah, correct, good point, what are these independent entities called, sister projects? I rem now, Git or chat I read said that, I guess like the Math(?) section is/was not SE-owned. Is just not labeled, like WordPress puts Credits everywhere. (P.S. The About page for Charcoal is hidden/sparse, then again my own About profiles are sparse too, just saying. If each project had a crypto token there would be better labeling, but then again if tokenized/incentivized your modeling may suffer.)
@prosody-GabeVereableContext if there is anything you think we should add to charcoal-se.org/about please feel free to elaborate
@prosody-GabeVereableContext math.stackexchange.com is obviously SE-branded, MathOverflow.net less obviously so
it started out as an independent site but was incorporated into the network later
it's slightly weird to have two maths sites but it's sort of like the Unix / Ubuntu dichotomy, the sites have very different audiences even though the subject matter is clearly fundamentally closely related
regarding our identity, I agree that the chat room description could be more straightforward, but we sort of like it this way
I actually just came organically, I found many of my google results took me here and eventually found that I wanted to provide feedback on some of them and so ended up registering and starting to post
Interesting. (In time, me too, now I organically am redirected back to Stack/Quora for every search I make sometimes, it pattern matches my style now, there are often not any other reputable alternative results than these.)
@tripleee That pattern looks like it's already caught by Potentially bad keyword in body and Potentially bad keyword in answer Append -force to the command if you really want to add the pattern you entered.

I'd like to speak to some of y'all who help keep charcoal/smokeDetector running in a private chat. About ensuring that you have the proper access to keep integrated with a new (soon to be announced) feature/section of the site. Anyone available sometime this week?
@YaakovEllis I'm guessing you probably want @Makyen
and/or @ThomasWard
I'd love to be in the loop as well but probably can't contribute much, if you are available during my business hours (say 0500UTC through 1400UTC, even though I'm not in the Middle East :-)
@YaakovEllis if you have something which is available through regular chat I guess anyone here with write access to our Github repo can add the room(s) you want, but this is obviously speculative

@MartinSleziak unfortunately, the !!/test commands don't work well with multi-line chat messages because of additional decorations added by chat under the hood
You have posted multiple answers in the last hour, all linking to the same Github project. The design in your avatar makes it seem like you are probably the owner of this project. Please review How not to be a spammer. — tripleee6 secs ago
@tripleee A normalized version, {'7027487593', '17027487593'}, of that pattern is already on the number blacklist. You can use !!/bisect-number +17027487593 to determine which entries on the number lists match that pattern.
