@metasmoke tp: 4 / fp: 0 / NAA: 0 in MS search results. False positives are extremely unlikely. Reduction of false positives is increased by case sensitivity and by the fact that the username has to start with "Lass" and end with "Naturals to be caught". The spammer has repeatedly used the same username on 4 occasions (which is all the times that they spammed this domain).

@Xnero Did you want both PR 6619 and PR 6620 reviewed separately (as in, separate additions to the blacklist) or did you want to prefer one over the other?
I ask because they're similar and thought it possible that you had meant to use the regex in 6620 and not 6619
Also note that I haven't looked too deep into them yet so if it's painfully obvious later that they're both meant to be used, I do apologize.

@Catija lickety-split here, unusually.
Hmmm. I had one take about 2 seconds, one closer to 20... so seems to be hit and miss.
Not a big deal for me, I don't visit MS often but I saw a link somewhere earlier and noticed the slowness and thought I'd see if it was something to be concerned about. :)
Yeah mine is also moving fairly quickly.

Maybe? I was looking at it after it was deleted, so most people wouldn't be able to see it. there anyway.
Metasmoke, in general, is a bit... Inconsistent, in terms of its loading speed.
When it's slow, it's slow.
13:43
It's always slow when searching for the number of hits on a website...
Obfuscation has lead us to this point:
!!/unblacklist farmscbdoil\.com
!!/approve 6619
Search speed will depend on the query, everything else should load within a few seconds, although sometimes they will simply decide not to
@Xnero cc @JeffSchaller Including the @ in this watch means that it won't match anything, due to the \b bookending. In this case, because what's being detected is so unique, there's no need to check for the "@". If there was a need to check for it, then you could use a look-behind such as: playtipus111(?<=@playtipus111)(?#Telegram)

I'm not fully against bending that requirement, from time to time, but doing so should have some justification. A watch would also be effective at getting autoflags. The negative look-ahead is useless here, because you're also constraining that point to be at the end of the text, so it's already impossible for the ".com" to exist."
@Xnero see below

!!/reject 6620 "This seem like an excessive level of obfuscation for what's been seen in posts, but maybe it's needed. If the next thing that you require to be matched after the [\W_]* is a word character, then the possessive quantifier is preferred (i.e. [\W_]*+). The (?:[\W_]*\.)?[\W_]* formulation is effectively useless and potentially harmful. Just use a single [\W_]*+, which will include the \.. If you were requiring the \. to exist, it would be a different matter."
Whoops.

user435118
@Makyen "With 4 TP, this doesn't quite meet the requirements for a blacklist." - I don't agree, the blacklisting guidelines don't give a specific number.
user435118
@Makyen So... will you do an alternative watch to catch their obfuscated posts?
Until such a time that we arrive at an acceptable obfuscation-catching regex, I'll reinstitute this back onto the blacklisted websites list:
!!/blacklist-website-force farmscbdoil\.com
13:50
@Spevacus That pattern looks like it's already caught by Bad keyword in body and Bad keyword in answer Append -force to the command if you really want to add this pattern.
@Spevacus That's not what I meant... I meant it's not using the full URL, so you have to wait for that to redirect, and then locate the MS ID (because the link had a site ID), and then redirect there... might take a few seconds to filter through all the redirects and point you to the correct place? Pure guesswork, though
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
user435118
@Makyen Why is a possessive quantifier preferred?
@Xnero They do. It's 5 TP unless it's part of a pre-existing campaign, in which case it's 3. Blacklisting keywords has similar criteria as websites. Please see the Guidance for blacklisting and watching.
@Xnero Yes, the guidelines don't explicitly say that the username blacklist requires similar TP and FP criteria as are in place for the keyword and website blacklists. It, admittedly, was left as a general assumption. Given that there are other issues with username blacklists, it should probable get it's own entry in the guidelines.
user435118
13:58
@cigien I'm looking at that and I don't see 5 for keywords.
@Makyen sorting my way through this; because the spam had a space before the @ the \b doesn't have a word/non-word character transition, since @ is a non-word character. I saw the \b come through in the MS search, but I assumed it was an artifact of some kind and I manually removed it. Let this be a reminder to myself in the future that \b exists. Thanks for the explanation!
@Xnero Because it reduces CPU load, to an extent, and helps to reduce the possibility of catastrophic backtracking, if something isn't quite right in the regex. If it's impossible for there to be a match other than with all the characters of the group/set consumed, then there's no reason to not force the regex engine to not backtrack.
