Um, wait a minute. Why the pinged message (you know.. one with the Links) is unpinged?
Where?
In the starred messages? I thought the pinged message stay at the top

@thesecretmaster Each user who's eligible to pin a message (i.e. each moderator and each room owner) can pin any individual message a single time. The pin lasts for up to 14 days, or until unpinned, if unpinned before the 14 days elapses. Each of those users can pin a message which had been previously pinned by someone else, but can not re-pin a message which they have previously pinned. In other words, a single message can be pinned for a total of 14 days * (#moderators + # room owners).
The reason that the message is usually reposted prior to being pinned is that I'm the room owner/moderator that tends to be around when the pin goes away. Given that I've pinned every single message which is using the current text, I have to create a new message in order to pin it.
In other words, if you encounter the situation where the pinning has expired, feel free to re-pin the most recent such message, or any message with the same text.

oops, so it is.
Are you supposed to remove the punctuation from the number first? Or is that irrelevant, because the "watch-number" command will strip it automatically?
@CodyGray I don't think so. Best thing you can do is leave a comment for approvers to see.
@cigien Hmm. Scratte warned me about my number of rejects going too high. :-)
07:27
@cigien Thanks. Yeah, it's something I try to pay attention to.
@CodyGray I think numbers get normalized for you. From what I've seem, everyone just pastes what they see in the post. That's what I've been doing.
@CodyGray Yeah, I was trying to follow that conversation. Started going around in circles, so I've shelved it for the moment.
@CodyGray It's irrelevant for the -number watch/blacklist. The -number watch/blacklist does a plain text search first with exactly what you supplied, then with both what you supplied and the post text "normalized".
@Makyen Wouldn't that imply it's not "irrelevant", and that if the format can be matched exactly, that's a win?
@CodyGray It would report the match as "verbatim" instead of "normalized" in the why, but it doesn't have any different weight to the detection.
Efficiency of detection?
Maybe I'm micro-optimizing :-)
07:32
Not that much performance improvement. It's still also going to test the text for the normalized version.

@cigien There are more people providing feedback then providing watches, usually. While it's nice if someone that marks a report TP checks for what caused the hits and whether more watches are appropriate (and whether current watches should perhaps be upgraded), it's not guaranteed at all.
