@user12986714 pretty sure it's something being run by Ruby

@user12986714 @ThomasWard My guess is that it's a combo of mysql and rails usage spiking on expensive queries (i.e. long searches).
And then getting stuck... somehow
perhaps, but then MySQL would be eating the RAM
it's literally some Ruby call in the app that sits there and eats ungodly RAM
I would be deeply surprised if any of our code leaked
Maaaaybe a dependency
But that also feels unlikely
I guess it can be some requests that client closed their connection while server is busy processing db
And that db things won't cancel
01:49
I would hope that passenger would be able to clean it up
And we know mysql isn't holding on to that extra memory
Yeah it is the passenger
@SmokeDetector f
Could also be redis
Redis sometimes gets grumpy about memory
Maybe we can do some experiment with someone submitting a slightly more costly search and close the connection and those with ssh access monitoring htop

tuneskit is a bit general to catch, but it works. 97,1%. The only FP has a comma following it, so technically-correct-yet-stupid-solution would be TunesKit[^,] (34/0/0). Malwarebytes is the accepted solution to a lot of virus problems. There are techsupport forums where basically their first step is "Get malwarebytes, give us the report"
Yeah, that was what made me look closely
It's reputable, it'd be weird if it were being spammed
Technically it's not NAA since it does actually attempt to answer the question, not just link-only 'your answer is in another castle' crap.
And in a very crappy way.
FP VLQ IMO
It arguably adds a bit of information
but it's not well-written at all.
