@tripleee I'm certainly reconsidering it.
And I recall several other FPs in recent months now that my flags have actually started to get used somewhat. Though some of those FPs turned out to not be true FPs IIRC.
user435118
@Mast I'm not trying to argue, I linked you to a search which has numerous examples of "contact me" + email marked as NAA. As the large majority of posts like that are marked NAA, that is the policy we should follow. If you want to change this so it should be tpu instead or tp, you should make a post on Teams.
Is there any place where I can see my autoflag history?
[ SmokeDetector | MS ] Potentially bad asn for hostname in body (1): How to center a button in jetpack Compose? by Ansh on stackoverflow.com
I know where I can see my manual feedback, but as that is at 100% valid I don't think that includes autoflags?
Given the intersection of "contact me for spam at spam@address" and "please send me the script to innocent@address", I'd think it'd be hard to have a policy that said "email is always X"
14:03
Outsider's POV: Simply saying "contact me here (email) for more help" (in relation to a question) is certainly unhelpful, but not spammy, it's not really promoting a product or service. If attached to the end of a useful answer, it should just be removed. If all the answer is is "hey email me (here) and i'll help you" then it definitely doesn't answer the question but doesn't promote a product per se. Of course: "contact me (email) to learn more about protein powder" on SO is def. spam.

So, another noob question: what actually happens if my autoflagging criteria hits below 99.75%. My flagging gets disabled I assume, but I still can I reenable it with different settings? Or is there more punitive effects as well?
And, just so I understand people's concerns, how would one autoflagger who had one of their conditions drop below that threshold hurt the overall charcoal effort? Note that I am asking earnestly, not in an attempt to disbelieve it or anything.
You can reenable it after adjusting it to be above 99.75%
@Rubiksmoose You are correct. There is a task which checks them periodically, as doing so is expensive (CPU), and admins can do so individually per user. There's no automatic punitive action.
@Rubiksmoose I think MS will get Smokey to tell you that your autoflagging was disabled and ask you to adjust it.
@Spevacus through a ping here I think
Mhmm. I've seen it happen once or twice so far.
17:34
Aug 8 at 14:41, by SmokeDetector
@Rob Your flag conditions were manually disabled by @SmokeDetector: Total accuracy must be >= 99.75%.
I remember when we changed it from 99.50% accuracy to 99.75% accuracy... Smokey started mass-pinging people :D
Shadow Wizard would be proud.
@Makyen Now at what point should I worry my conditions are hurting the overall effort here (certainly not something I want to do!)? In other words, if I choose to keep a riskier profile but do keep trying to fine tune it, when needed, am I just risking my own flag history or something more?
@Rubiksmoose It's a perception issue. Anytime we talk about autoflagging in general, there are people that push back and argue that autoflagging shouldn't be done and/or that it is too inaccurate to trust to an automatic system. Having the overall autoflagging accuracy drop for the project hurts the perception of the project and how well we can argue against those points of view.
Gotcha. That makes complete sense.
@Mithical hahaha did someone suspend smokey for being a nuisance?
@Rubiksmoose With the restrictions in place, it's not possible to set one's autoflagging accuracy all that low (all flagging conditions need to individually be >=99.75% accurate in order to be saved). The only areas where it really can be all that low is where the user intentionally combines overall low accuracy sites (e.g. Stack Overflow) with high accuracy sites (almost anywhere else) in order to be allowed to have a significantly lower accuracy on the low accuracy site.
@Spevacus I love the idea that Smokey belligerently keeps interrupting people during that whole thing.
@Makyen I think if I remove SO from my 1 min weight and 4 min reason count profile it should help then yes?
@Rubiksmoose Yes. Personally, I choose to (mostly) have separate flagging conditions for SO, because it's profile for TP/FP is just fundamentally different from other sites. As to the 4 reason one, my personal preference is to have the reason weight set to at least 5, just to prevent having 4 "potentially" reasons trigger autoflagging, but that's a personal preference, as the numbers support 1/1/4 (i.e. the last I checked there were only 4 FP which were actually weight 4 and 4 reasons).
17:47
I have my max poster reputation set up really high too but I found that didn't really affect things at all.
I'd never thought about SO having different flagging profiles before...
Most reports seem to be from people at or below the association bonus amount (101) I've found.
@Rubiksmoose For most things, it doesn't, because most detection reasons are also limited to detect at some maximum reputation, so it's much more difficult for high rep users (or even moderately low rep users) to have posts detected.
@Spevacus That certainly matches my experience so far as well.
I guess offensive is the only one I can think of that routinely catches higher rep users. And I'm not even sure if Smokey does or not.
fp feedback received
Smokey catches a few offensive keywords. There is a "toxic answer/question detected" reason after all, but most higher rep users would rather be toxic through the whole "You didn't research this at all, you should have just googled this, how can you be so dense..." language to avoid being overtly insulting.
17:52
@Spevacus with regards to the toxic reason, I just meant I wasn't sure if there was a rep cap on Smokey's detection for that reason.
But yeah. People find lots of ways to be mean.
Oh, pff, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ No clue
I've only got one flagging condition set. Min. weight of 200, max rep of 101, min. of 3 reasons - across all sites.

I had only had around 6 or 7 autoflags used before today. With Core now, though, I guess that's gonna increase a fair bit.
fp- feedback received
@Spevacus Yes, it will increase. Note: The record of your flags (and everyone's flags) is missing several months of the first part of this year due to a bug wiping out the flag records and an unfortunate lack of backups (fixed). So, any numbers you see on MS for flags raised are actually low across the board.
user435118
17:57
@Makyen I wonder who did that... ;)
Makyen pressed the big red "don't push me!" button ;D
@Spevacus why is that?
@Daniil The bugged code is introduced by Art (per git blame) in an un-relevant commit; then I registered a test account which Makyen nuked and caused the issue
Autocorrection is terrible
@Rubiksmoose Users with the Core role have their flags prioritized when Smokey pulls from the list of eligible flaggers to autoflag a post. In a post that gets 3 autoflags, 2 of them are pulled from Core users, and the 3rd is pulled from a random user. That's why most users see very few flags cast automatically on their behalf by Smokey when first getting involved with Charcoal, even when their conditions are set to be super loose.
@Spevacus ah neat!
18:04
As to SO being different with respect to TP/FP: SO has 82,059 total detections/ 35,771 TP / 36,445 FP / 7,697 NAA for 43.6 %TP. The next two highest detection sites are: Ask Ubuntu with 24,803 total detections/ 22,255 TP / 2,084 FP / 467 NAA for 89.7 %TP; and Super User with 19,940 total detections/ 15,970 TP / 3,103 FP / 685 NAA for 80.1 %TP.
user435118
@Spevacus It should still be around 6 or 7.

Jun 14 at 21:51, by Makyen
If there are any flag conditions that match the post: The maximum number of flags that the post will get is determined and depends on % probability of being TP and the criteria for each number of flags, which is a setting that is currently that to get 4 flags historical accuracy must be >99.9% TP. Then, the flags are allocated as follows:
Jun 14 at 21:52, by Makyen
SmokeDetector gets the first flag, unless it can't flag (e.g. runs out/too recently flagged/flag banned/random failure/etc.). Of the remaining maximum number of flags for the post, Core users, whose flag conditions match the post, get up to ceiling((max_flags -1)/2) flags. Non-Core users get the rest.
Jun 14 at 21:52, by Makyen
Example: max_flags = 4. SD gets 1, so Core users get up to ceiling((4 -1)/2) = 2; non-Core users get at least 1, possibly up to 4, if SD and all Core users are unable to flag.
Jun 14 at 21:52, by Makyen
Example: max_flags = 3. SD gets 1, so Core users get up to ceiling((3 -1)/2) = 1; non-Core users get at least 1, possibly up to 3, if SD and all Core users are unable to flag.

user435118
@Spevacus That won't work. ^^

18:14
@Daniil Well, you can, but the numbers have to be quite high. It appears to be that there are specific posts that are causing problems.

@Daniil I'm not sure which you're saying "not really" to, so I'm unsure how to respond, but, yes, it does appear to be associated with specific posts, as you can use flagging conditions on SO that are different by a weight of 1 and have one save while the other won't.
user435118
18:17
@Makyen I was saying that to "but the numbers have to be quite high".
@Makyen Yup, what you said made sense. Identified the condition then added MSE so I didn't have to set the SO numbers sky high
@Daniil With SO alone I think they meant.
user435118
@Rubiksmoose Then their wording was confusing considering they responded to "You can't set a SO only condition, add MSE.".
Well that concludes this episode of "noob hour with rubiksmoose" you can now resume your regularly scheduled programming
2
user435118
@Rubiksmoose :( When's the next episode?
@Daniil Yeah you were both responding to different parts of each others' statements XD
18:21
@Daniil Which is arguing something I didn't say. You said "You can't set a SO only condition". I said "Well, you can, but the numbers have to be quite high." However, I can see how there might have been some confusion, because I didn't make it clear by saying "Well, you can set an SO only condition, but the numbers have to be quite high." However, I thought the intent was clear, because I had also just said that an additional site can be added, which indicated I agreed with that part.

I really don't know SQL. However, I'm looking at this MS SQL Data Exploder query: Top Feedback per User with Roles. The issue I have is that it's incomplete. I'm not sure how incomplete it is, but when I looked for Rubiksmoose on there, who has 504 feedbacks, they are not listed. I expected to see everyone with > 60 feedbacks.

[ SmokeDetector | MS ] Pattern-matching website in body (96): HLS Stream has no sound on the website by Giorgi Khachidze on wordpress.SE
@Makyen Well, I am not sure why the orig query won't work, but metasmoke.erwaysoftware.com/data/sql/queries/… seems to give complete result
Except role_name looks bugged
@user12986714 Thanks. It looks like it was excluding everyone with 0 invalidated feedbacks.
@Makyen I am pretty sure you are viewing the result while I am having a failed attempt to fix the bug; it should now work
(with role_name bugged)
@user12986714 I meant the old one was excluding those entries with 0 invalidated feedbacks, not the new one.

Goes back a year with a few FP feedbacks, deleted user... Honestly looks sorta NAA (asking for additional details in an answer) but I'm not certain.
