Hi Ralf. Answers should be more than just links to external sites. Your answer should itself contain the necessary explanation, such that it remains useful even if the link goes dead. Link-only answers are officially discouraged and may be removed. Also, you need to disclose your affiliation with sites you link to: please see our promotion guidelines, aptly titled How to not be a spammer. You should not be here primarily to promote your site but to provide high quality answers. — doppelgreener 6 secs ago

Hi Ralf. You need to disclose your affiliation with products you're recommending. Please see our promotion guidelines. Since you are UI.Vision staff, you need to disclose that in the content of your answer. Also, please do not try to use our site for SEO — your links should be clearly labelled and descriptive. I have edited this answer as an example of both of these things. — doppelgreener 38 secs ago

@Machavity What should I do about the tag edits? One user is going through all the questions that mention a particular site and adding the site's URL to the question as a tag (see: stackoverflow.com/q/52502255/11384392). It's clearly not a proper tag to use, and there's a lot that was changed
There's no hard evidence, but the activity smells of affiliation, especially because they also added a tag wiki and excerpt to it

@Daniil Given that there is no '"let's nuke this post" button[s]', how else are we supposed to take your statements? Do note that I asked for clarification prior to proceeding with an assumption.

@Makyen I'm sure you can get my access token from the "accessTokens.txt." file on someones desktop or something and make it easily. Anyway, please do not use my autoflags for the "Spam Wave" tool.
Nice, I like the change a lot. Then there's a clear distinction between questions about the API, which are on topic, and those about the site itself, which is off-topic
@Daniil That is not true, at least from the code

@Daniil No, it's not. We don't have the capability to honor your request in any other way.
user435118
@Makyen You could at least check with me before destroying my account.

@SmokeDetector Agreed, that's Machavity's misclick, the deleted answer to this question isn't spam, or necessarily dangerous advice, or a well explained answer. They suggest adding their username and password when pushing to the account; to prove that they have access. It's an answer to their own question.
...what's this spam wave tool? I'm a bit out of the loop, is there a Channels post or something?

@Mithical A tool which allows admins to manipulate where your flags go without your approval.

Could also restrict which sites your flags can be directed to. For example, if you're a moderator on a site, maybe you don't want to be able to single-spam-flag-nuke on sites you moderate.

I only know because I was messing around with my autoflag parameters somewhat recently and saw it mentioned there.
user435118
@Mithical It would. This could have been dealt with in a normal way and actually asking the user "can I disable your account" rather than doing so without asking the user.
@Mithical Daniil asked for us to prevent use of his account as part of a spam wave. The only method of doing that which we have available is to disable his account. I asked explicitly if this was what was desired and he reiterated his request. I complied with his request in the only way available, other than destroying his account.
