[ SmokeDetector | MS ] Potentially bad asn for hostname in answer (1): How to express REGEX OR in in digits? by Xyloid on stackoverflow.com

@Daniil while that's true, in my experience our admins are usually pretty good about staying clear of 'annoying' territory. That is of course somewhat subjective, but I have yet to see a case where a manually-posted Smokey message has been anything worse than just...unexpected and a bit amusing

!!/bisect Uber Clone

@NobodyNada @Daniil In the end this is really more of a social issue than a matter of protocol IMO. I don't think it's necessary to straight-up ban posting messages from SD's account, but if someone were to seriously abuse that privilege then...well, ton-of-bricks. If someone is just overusing it to the point where it's not funny anymore then that's something to handle with a friendly conversation rather than some kind of official protocol

Which kinda blew my cpu & disk up during profiling
I think Thomas said MS lives on a SSD, which may mean the random disk io will be significantly faster

@ArtOfCode I believe utf-8 is variable width, so one need to iterate through the string to find an index (this is also where the awkward u32str_seek() comes from - it was u8str_seek() which actually increased performance significantly)

@tripleee It's possible we'll have to adjust it eventually, but since we can't blacklist the domain this is the next-best thing.
I think.
Most important thing is that I can't think of a case triggering a false-positive here.

8:38 AM
the two mentions of the domain are scraping questions, it just takes someone to want to scrape that particular path

I don't think I understand that.
Street insider is basically a hub of information. Parts of it are not moderated by themselves but by external parties. Like the FMR Wire.

I have a bit of an odd question. This post on Skeptics asks about research and evidence about a specific Keto claim. Based on the amount of crap we've been getting from Keto posts, I've read up a bit about it and I think I can answer it.
However, that would involve mentioning a couple of blacklisted keywords often enough to trigger automatic flagging.
