@Makyen They say that confession is good for the soul. I'm unable to delete my mistake on metasmoke.erwaysoftware.com/post/172867. I was doing review on MS and the location of the skip button moves. Accidentally hit NAA.
You may commence the loud booing and the cabbage throwing.
@SecretAgentMan np. We all make mistakes. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I've deleted your review of that post.
However, that brings up the issue of the Skip button moving. I'm assuming it moves because of the presence or absence of the NAA option. We should probably make a change so that it stays in the same place, or at least isn't in the same place as another button.
@SmokeDetector I'm good with blocking this on the system level, and thus, TP, but at least for the first one of these, I'd only flag it as NAA. The second one, particularly on the same question, does get to the point of being rude, IMO.

@tripleee Thanks for telling me. I'm a little hesitant at calling that one spam. While I don't like fake tech support, that question could be an actual question and is about SEO, which seems to be something on-topic for Webmasters. However, I do note it was deleted only about 25 minutes after being reported.

@SmokeDetector This version, edited by a moderator, still doesn't disclose affiliation. Actually it further obscures it. I had flagged the post as spam before; my flag was declined. I think the goal of this post is to promote the linked site, and that at minimum it should disclose affiliation... but mods on law.SE seem not to agree even regarding disclosure. I'm not sure what Metasmoke feedback is appropriate here. (And as I'm not active on law.SE, I don't plan to comment or inquire on their meta.)

@SmokeDetector Links to a fake tech support site. Was accepted by the OP unfortunately! Note also the fake printer tech support stuff in the author's Ask Ubuntu profile.

@SmokeDetector That fake printer tech support site hasn't been spammed yet on SE as far as I know, but it's in the Ask Ubuntu profile of that spammer, who seems to be better than average at obscuring the spam nature of posts... so I figure it's worthwhile to watch it proactively.
@SmokeDetector To clarify further about that fake Dragon post, for anyone still unsure (and future readers who find it in Metasmoke): The site is a scam. The extra "s" in the domain should be a clue. Those brave enough to visit the site can verify that it is not affiliated with Nuance (the makers of Dragon) by scrolling to the bottom of the page and reading carefully. All the grammar mistakes on the page, and the fake printer tech support link and phone number in the author's profile, are also clues.
(^^ The fake printer tech support phone number in the author's profile. Searching Google verifies that it is widely reported and discussed as a scam number.)

it's implicit in the fact that the IP address is watched ... but I'm hoping to make it more explicit in a forthcoming version of Halflife, have just not had the time to work on it

@SmokeDetector Even if the link actually went to that site, this would still be spam. The alternative.app page it links to ironically describes it accurately: "Mamahd.org is a streaming website for different kinds of sports." This is quite different from what the question is actually asking for, and I think almost surely intentionally so. (mamahd.org currently redirects to mamahd.best.)
