Is there an auto flag for this mass editing?

An auto flag? Do you mean, does the system modify moderators automatically?
I think it might, but I've raised a custom mod flag.
@SmokeDetector Unlike the tp reports before and after it, ths is the restored version of a vandalized post, so this report is a false positive. It was reported because I gave tpu- rather than tp- feedback on a previous post, which in hindsight was silly and I should have known that blacklisting the user would cause rollbacks to get reported. Sorry about that.

@EliahKagan As in - a user changes many (10+) of their posts to remove the content in quick succession (as appears to be happening with most of the above SD reports). If it were a hacked account, an automatically-raised moderator flag might prevent further damage. But if you've raised a custom flag then hopefully it'll get resolved before the edit history on those posts goes mad.

I think the system will raise a moderator flag automatically due to the high volume of self-edits over a short time, but I'm not sure what the threshold is for it.
They've self-vandalized their posts before, so this is probably intentional and not the result of a hacked account. (But I don't think you're saying that this particular case is.)

tpu- feedback received

@Das_Geek i think it depends on the cases. Normally if there's a 'failed for unknown reasons' that means it's a non-standard git error and a reboot usually helps from what i've seen
which reminds me my instances died xD

@Das_Geek It depends on the problem. This specific instance, iBug/Sandy Shores, has a intermittent problem with git operations (appears related to forking processes). When it has that error, it often also looses connection to the chat room where the !!/watch or !!/blacklist-* was given upon the next such command after the error occurred. The only demonstrated solution is to !!/reboot.
If the !!/reboot is done after the instance looses connection with the room, then the !!/reboot has to happen in another room. My doing it here was just easier than waiting to see if it lost connection for commands in CHQ and going to another room.
Hopefully, we'll resolve the issue with the instance, or we'll bring up another instance which we can have as the primary.
I've been considering bringing up an AWS Lightsail instance to try out that service and see if their $3.5/mo version can consistently handle SD (it should be able to, with a little swap space). Either way, I'll be taking down my EC2 instance, as the 1 year free period expires quite soon, and a low-cost EC2 doesn't really fit an SD instance which is primarily active, due to limitations on the amount of CPU time available (i.e. the free tier is really only good for 6, or so, hours out of 24).
