@Undo That's awesome. Do you know (and want to share) what you'll be doing? Did you get to talk about us during interviews? As someone who interviews new hires, I'm always excited when they put interesting projects on resumes. It gives me something to talk to them about...and usually they are passionate about it
@Andy I know a bit more specifically what teams and such, but just 'Azure' is probably enough. Didn't get to talk about this much directly; have another BigCo project that got most of the time (doing something that this hiring manager does as his job)
Though they spent a ridiculous amount of money to fly me out with one day notice, put me in a hotel two nights, and some other stuff. For 1:30 of interviews.

I don't mean to challenge the community against the recent protests against the changes (and Monica's dismissal), but since long ago I have stopped contributing to SE for the company. I've only been participating in SE so I have something to write my résumé from then on. (It can be inferred that I used to focus on good content, but more on reputation and other spotlights of my own now.)
As stated, I no longer think these are "contributions to Stack Exchange", but more "my experiences that will make me stand out", or in short, for my own sake, so I'm not much too disappointed by the recent plows pulled by SE. Rest assured, that doesn't mean I'd quit unexpectedly, being persistent to a project is still a good quality in employers' eyes IMO.

One one hand, I have been disappointed in SE for quite a while now - the SO/SE community is very much a one-sided effort at the moment
However, I owe a lot to Charcoal: everyone here, whether you realise it or not, are amazing people, and Charcoal has been a really big part of my learning as a developer over the past few years
