Hey @Machavity!!! I see you are reporting posts of Ralph for containing grabz.it. In the help center, "Post good, relevant answers, and if some (but not all) happen to be about your product or website, that’s okay. However, you must disclose your affiliation in your answers." is mentioned. However in the above posts they didn't disclose their affiliation but still that answers the question. I think. Do we still consider it as spam?
I don't mean any criticism. It's just for the sake of learning about spams
Only concern I have is the inactivity, most of the posts date back to 2012
Though the magento one is from April this year
@Kulfy affiliation must be disclosed; if it's not, it's technically spam. It might be possible to remedy, depending on whether the user is open to it or not, but the posts are still spam until fixed.
this one is disclosed though, but possibly an alt account
@ArtOfCode But I think it's not flaggable. Isn't it?
15:33
eeeehhh
debatable
personally I wouldn't, though I might mod-flag it
others would spam-flag it
@ArtOfCode I think he's got a second account too. Look at this user. Makes the same claim of ownership but most of the answers promote that site
If it's on a site I mod, I would far prefer a mod-flag about that than a spam flag. Spam flags are blunt instruments.
@Kulfy Disclosure is required, but that doesn't mean it makes spam OK either. Repeatedly posting about your service is still spam
@terdon I mod flagged all the ones I reported. There's no pattern on any one site
@Machavity I know you did :) Thanks!
I am not currently handling flags, but I saw it.
Ah, you're an AU mod as well. I sense a pattern there ;)
15:38
:)
@Machavity But that still answers the question. Errrr!!! Am I becoming rigid?
@Kulfy We don't mind the one-offs. It's when you're posting it over and over that it's a problem. That user has 4 posts and all 4 plug his site
[ SmokeDetector | MS ] Potentially bad keyword in body (1): ggplotly cutting off rows from heatmap ✏️ by astridite on stackoverflow.com
@Machavity OK so user needs to engage on site more and contribute on topics that are not solely related to their product to become a non-spammer. Right?
@Kulfy They need to not plug their service/site over and over. Other contributions are good to keep the account from being deleted, but the spam should go

@Undo I don't want to pile on work the moment you get back, but... If you have some time, the code for rebooting MS could use some attention. When clicking on the "Click this" button it produces an "Internal server error" response and doesn't reboot MS. Fortunately, the need for it has been much reduced over the last month, or so days, since @thesecretmaster added swap space.
