I'm planning to buy a RPi Zero W as a personal development & testing server, including MS
Social justice warrior (commonly abbreviated SJW) is a pejorative term for an individual who promotes socially progressive views, including feminism, civil rights, and multiculturalism, as well as identity politics. The accusation that somebody is an SJW carries implications that they are pursuing personal validation rather than any deep-seated conviction, and engaging in disingenuous arguments. The phrase originated in the late 20th century as a neutral or positive term for people engaged in social justice activism. In 2011, when the term first appeared on Twitter, it changed from a primarily...

@iBug A PI Zero doesn't exactly go that well with "server" imo
@CalvT It used to do very well with my RPi 3
Although I can't say I've ever tried one - I use the B models generally
but for various reasons, my current environment doesn't allow me to set it up
Yeah ok
You're comparing 1 core to 4, which is fairly major imo, that's all
12:48
And half the RAM - another issue
Yup
What's the restriction if you don't mind me asking?
I need a router which I can't set up in my school dormitory
So you need WiFi?
Plus 24/7 power supply - they cut off power at 11:30 PM and restores it at 6:30 AM
Networking is just another problem. There's no ethernet in the dormitory. All network access is mobile cellular data. I share it from my phone to my PC.
So why would the Zero perform where the 3 wouldn't?
12:52
Access via USB. This isn't easily possible with 3
In theory they should be the same I'd have thought, so that's news to me
Pardon?
What is the same I'd have?

It's previously set up to connect to a router in my home (not school), so the only access would be network + direct filesystem modification by loading the MicroSD card on my PC
> Pi0 (or Pi0W) can be configured to dynamically switch between master and slave USB configuration.
I guess that's what you mean?
Yes
Wonder if you can get a 3 to work like that
it's not easily possible
I'll experiment with mine and lyk

I don't have a USD-enabled credit card, so no AWS
Haven't checked out other providers.
13:04
no experience with others but I believe Google should be pretty eager to get market share from AWS
(I think I actually created a Google Cloud account but got sidetracked ... features are less impressive than AWS anyway)
AWS is my primary choice
Can't you just connect via ethernet? If your laptop doesn't have an ethernet port you could get a usb adaptor
I'm having trouble setting ethernet connection, I'm working on it
As to the USD card - various bitcoin providers can give you a virtual card that might work

@iBug nothing, that's just what people pay
it costs us literally nothing extra
75 EUR/mo could afford subscription to some very good online storage services like Dropbox or Premium Male Enhancement

which was the problem last time.
[tag:cv-pls] too broad stackoverflow.com
@Undo yep, we expect that and on EOFErrors we remove the file and restart by raising the error (but make sure the next run starts with a fresh pickle file)
lines 37-39 of datahandling
we had EOF errors in the past I guess and address them
Oh, remember something like that now
the latest issue was not an EOFError (End of File Error) issue but an UnpicklingError and we handle that as its own case but with a similar behavior if the message contains 'data was truncated' as the error message.
(in _load_pickle)
otherwise we raise an error normally and let the crash handler determine if we need to do anything

@Mithrandir While not having negative look-ahead (and all the other expanded (normal) regex features) on MS does make it difficult to test stuff, it's not impossible to get an idea of what's going to happen. However, you have to do so manually. Normally, you could get an idea of what your regex, ^.{1,15}(?!ice\W?)cream$, would do by making multiple searches: one search for ^.{1,15}cream$, then another search for ^.{1,12}ice\W?cream$ and subtract the results of the first from the second.
