Eh, you posted your answer
which you shouldn't have done
IMHO
Also that comment is hilarious
I thought it was an app for correcting each other and assist those who need help — user382838 4 mins ago
well, not that hilarious, but... whatever

Well never mind, I'll have to got and answer another one now, trying to keep my rep up on MSE, so close to reviews :)

@JakeSymons Just FYI: No review queues are available on MSE until you get to 2k rep.

@Makyen Oh, well, I best answer more then one then :)
Or just ditch and switch to SO and start reviewing at 500

@quartata huh?
Changes might be restricted to repo alone, I dunno

[ SmokeDetector | MS ] Manually reported question: Turtle not working in IDLE by jenny Fra on stackoverflow.com

@JakeSymons Well, if your real goal is just to be able to review, you probably should pick a site other than SO. Reputation is usually hard to come by on SO. On other sites, it's generally easier (higher average upvotes per post), at least in my experience. For instance, I have review capability (> 500 rep) on two sites from a single answer each (plus association bonus).
afk

@SmokeDetector That's meant to be the answer not the question, I did link the answer - stackoverflow.com/questions/42589090/turtle-not-working-in-idle/…

@JakeSymons In the future, use !!/report with the link from the share button on the question

It's more consistent

Great, I was wondering why that didn't work :) Have to remember to do that instead of using the link

@SmokeDetector @ArtOfCode or @Undo nuke on MS?

@Makyen I need rep on SO though if I want to get into computing at some point. I know to get back into the sixth year, because my math is a 2 grades below then required to do the course I have to have a lot of stuff on computing to show "dedication", one on the list is SO
So I kinda have to get rep on there, somehow between now and next September
@Mego that's my first ever nuke, it had to happen eventually...@ArtOfCode feel free to delete it :)

@Mego no need

10:15 PM
@Makyen I literally got review in 2 days on SO
it's trivial as long as you're willing to debase yourself
holy shit serverless has so many dependencies

Right I'm off, see you guys tomorrow, I am actually going to answer a question on Stack Overflow tomorrow hopefully I need to get some rep, somewhere anywhere by now I've been here nearly 4 months :)

@angussidney thanks

You know
Even though the which pattern matched thing was too slow for regular smokey
It would be perfect for halflife
Rather than just tracking domains you just track patterns
+ additional NS data for when the pattern matched is a domain
@tripleee you around?

@quartata I didn't say it was impossible, just easier, on average, on other sites. Certainly, on SO you can get rep relatively quickly, particularly if that's your explicit goal. However, questions on SO are usually evaluated as to being technically correct, in addition to communicating well, being reasonably formatted, etc. On some other sites, for many questions, but not all, the bar for being "correct" is lower, in some cases non-existent, depending on site and type of question.

Their chat activity graph chat.stackexchange.com/users/62118/tripleee would indicate that they're not usually around at around this time.

@quartata Is there any context on 1625 I'm missing? Don't understand why we need separate SO blacklists

@Undo I was asking you for context

yeah, I know. Was hoping you knew something I didn't.

something about "Alibaba cloud" presumably

Q: How is this question spam or R/A?

iBugWhen doing Triage review, I came across this item: https://stackoverflow.com/review/triage/18832925 I felt somewhat uneasy, so I went to the actual post. It says "This is spam and is therefore hidden". So easy peasy, I passed the audit. Then I went through everything, including the revision his...

11:09 PM
why not blacklist everywhere?
that's what I'm missing

yep

@iBug

shoulda been a review, but whatever

If we're going for site specific blacklists that honestly should wait on either Helios or Inferno
since flat files won't be sufficient

It doesn't scale well, no.
If there's a need for it now, in this case, I'll entertain it - just need to understand what the need is

11:12 PM
This is fine if we just want SO
Like, code-wise

yep

I don’t think we have a need for it yet

Hmm, kinda sucks that the Serverless offline plugin only works for node. I'll have to install SAM now

Especially since there is only one item on the list
Just create a separate check that feeds into the same reason and is limited to SO only

That's what this is, basically.
The file is a formality, but it does add complexity

11:19 PM
I meant just use a standard regex reason, like we do for other one-site-keywords, no need for full blacklist file and functionality

github.com/Charcoal-SE/SmokeDetector/issues/… - thought on autoflagging & core

@Undo sounds like a good idea, but do all the other privileges that come with core make sense under that definition?

Core doesn't have any other privileges

Maybe that could be a new role that only grants additional autoflags
@Undo data explorer, announcements off the top of my head
Probably a few others
Also, free stickers :P

Conflicting feedback across revisions: current, #1

E.g. change it so that all account should have access to autoflags, flagger gets changed to verified flagger and grants additional autoflags, and core applies to other things

@SmokeDetector Why is it still in the review que?

@WELZ That's not a report.

It is lol

oh. v might not do anything
Not sure what happened there.
