@ThomasWard Did you know that you and Mosquitos share a common ancestor? So in a broad sense, I could say: "Don't criticize your siblings like that". Inside you is the capacity for defection and blood-sucking, just in more advanced ways.
If you go for your masters degree in computer science around machine learning, you would take a class on describing the mathematics of group conflict, and you'll see that the defection of the parasite is what provides the hot-beach that make all the critters evolve. You would learn to program those under the evolution model of multi agent interaction inside markov decision processes.
So when the angry driver honks his horn, flips you the bird and menaces with his fist when you cut him off, that anger is itself evolved behavior. Without it, evolution of that species stops.
So to hate mosquitos is to hate evolution. I love mosquitos and thank them for being the cold drill sargent who yells at you, reminding you that you don't yet have full control over the universe, and everything in it.

It's like, hey, lets try running this function to see what it does.. blaaarruhghghhhahaahahahae I'll kill you!!! Ok that function seems to be broken.
When a mind fails, the effects are off the wall because the faulty processes usually work in symphony with each other, and the faulty processes work each other into an undefined state that moves away from coherence. It's like you're reasoning with a furious cat. It's like hey kitty want a kitty treat! And it hisses at you because the emotional subsystem is detecting defection and violence.
Currently fixing up the tests, a few observations:
1. the globalvars test is now completely useless since almost all of the global vars it tested have been eliminated one way or another
in particular the smoke detector ID list never should have existed, you can retrieve the current account's ID with client._br.user_id
2. I wasn't aware of the existence of preprocess_shortcut_command until it was a little late to use it instead of what NG had (dispatch_shorthand_command), so I just got rid of it. that eliminates a good chunk of the tests in test_parsing, probably need to be replaced with appropriate chatcommunicate tests
3. on that note pretty much all of the chatcommunicate tests are about testing watcher which no longer exists
