It's... hard... to argue in favor of writing an algorithm and making a bot spend time calculating which of the two flag types to use when they are, in actuality, the exact same flag. It's not even Coke vs. Pepsi, it's Pepsi vs. a second bottle of Pepsi that's using a different but still valid Pepsi logo.
Looking at existing flag conditions across the system, there are only 11 (out of 189) enabled flag conditions where it's even possible for minimum reason count to play a role
Can someone sanity check me? Am I right to say that if (n)*100 < w, where n is the min reason count and w is the minimum weight, that's the only condition where it's possible for min reason count to play a role?
Yeah. Reasons can only have a maximum weight of 100, so the minimum number of reasons required to hit w is w/100. That's a better way to think of it
Hi guys. I've just recently been elected as a mod and wanted to cancel my account with Smokey, but keep getting an error. I've tried multiple browsers, but no joy. Any advice?
Oh, in my case it's just because I'm now a Mod. I remember when I first found out about Smokey that the advice was anyone who's a mod shouldn't be part of anything that involves their account being involved with automation, but since I wasn't a mod it was okay.
It's mostly moderators that maintain this thing, and we like to dogfood our stuff. There's some simple bulletproof logic to keep it from from touching mod sites. I'm 100% confident that it won't use my account to flag stuff on SO.
@thesecretmaster autoflagging always flags as spam, there were discussions about making it skip rude/abusive e.g. by way of artificially lower the autoflagging weight of those rules but I don't think anybody did anything about it

not the first time either -- looks like the domain was added by Glorfindel in response to a previous spam ... so I guess we will want to upgrade it to blacklisted
